Love or hate Ted Turner, I commend the man for bringing the Braves, and more importantly, Ernie Johnson's voice to a national level on the Superstation. RIP, Ernie. You were truly one of the best.
Ernies daughter was my teacher when I was in the 6th grade.She arranged for me to meet him one day,since I was the only Braves fan in the whole class.This was around early 1989.He told me that they were bringing in Nick Esasky,course we all know how that one turned out.
