Can I ask how you're getting the modulation sound? Leslie cabinet? Modern phase or chorus effects? Whatever you're doing, its wonderful. That 'come-and-go" effect is really the secret to the whole thing, the tune isn't that hard technically. Its working the modulation and then reverb at the end. Any pointers are greatly appreciated. Great job!

People play songs to honor, not to mimic artists and song writers. It is a fine song, and if played well, conjurs up images in your mind and soul of an America, not so long ago where we were racially divided, but brought together by common ground in music. I am sure Ry Cooder has no problem with people playing his songs as well as they can. That is an honor to him. Songs are to be shared. The fellow in this video plays the song very well and doesn't deserve to be flamed. Do better or BEAT IT...
