  • i would use my touch laptop which is more expenive and better! t900 fujitsu

  • @Funmichi actually it could be cheaper and better! The CINTIQ is way to expensive for its components.

  • Он же правша че ни как нельзя было камеру слева поставить и там уже снимать?! Он все рукой закрывает!!!

  • Do you see how the when he moves the "ruler" tool it's slightly choppy? My Intuos 3 tablet also does this but when I use the mouse to do it, it's smooth. WHY!?

  • Why use this, when I have a Fujitsu Lifebook T4310 Tablet PC w/ Wacom Technologies?

  • @ThePortalGunner THIS is connected to a powerfull PC. Sketchbook works ok on a tablet, but try to run Maya, Max, or even Photoshop. There was somewhere video of CS5 on ASUS Eee Slate EP121, not wery pretty slideshow. Tablets with wacom input are great to sketch on the go though

  • @makarbatareikin My tablet pc IS powerful enough to run all of these programs ESPECIALLY PhotoShop. Look up my tablet online.

  • ohhh wow, thanks for this, big help.

  • architects can't live without rulers!

  • How much does it cost?

  • this can be done on the ipad as well

  • @ruthlessclos18 no disrespect meant but don't kid yourself guy. The iPad is a good tablet, great for daily use and entertainment but it doesn't hold a candle to what you can do with this product.

  • Jawdropping moment at the end, nice

  • could have done this faster with a pencil

  • Anyone else feel like the short guy in the back of the crowd?

So nice to get an occasional glimpse of HIS FACE to break up the monotony of watching the BACK OF HIS HAND WIGGLING AROUND!

Simply moving the camera to his left side would make it so much better!

Or how about getting rid of Marcel de Jong and bringing "Lefty" in from the bullpen...

I'm no "Solutions Engineer", but that works for me. Maybe then I'd watch some of the other Wacom videos...

    cheesh!!!

  • which is better for architecture stuff, sketchbook pro, illustrator or photoshop?

  • I have an old Cintiq 15X, and I actually prefer my Intuos 4 tablet with a two-monitor setup. I wonder if I'd feel the same way if I tried a 21UX, but I doubt it. It's hard to cut loose because I'm too aware that a) I'm drawing on a surface that I worry about scratching and b) that surface is getting warm at the bottom. That being said, get Sketchbook Pro regardless of what you use. It's worth it.

  • 3:01 It's like drawing on a $5000 piece of paper!

  • excelente

  • I want you cintiq

  • oh god i want a cintiq soooo bad

  • I can't fucking concentrate on the autodesk, I can only look at this gorgeous man LOL

  • Oh my Goodness! 8O I am sooo buying one!!!!

  • This is a beautiful piece of equipment. having said that, PLEASE BUILD a PORTABLE cintiq -- like an actually digital sketchpad not needing to be connected to a pc.

  • @Kasen717 : you should try the asus ee slate 121, its windows 7 with wacom put together, check out the review here on youtube!

  • sketchbook pro sucks...

  • I want one of these so bad!

  • Super! Thanks a lo tor the great demo. I wish there were touchscreen monitors supporting pressure-sensitivity for students who can't afford a Wacom Cintiq ;-)

  • damn! under 5 min.! achieving that haha great work

  • i was using one of those...then i woke up.

  • Damn this thing is damn Expensive!

  • @Loocifur your damn right =S

  • zomgggg. i want.

  • yeeeeah !

  • why not just , um ,.,;;;<,, ah fuck it

  • i wish we could work simultaneously with sketchbook and revit ):

  • fantastic....wao ....how much is the wacom cintiq sketchbook pro...i love this

  • what the hell every store says Wacom Cintiq 21UX is out of stock

  • is this its own computer? or do you have to connect the PC to it in order to use it?

  • @vcatg

yes. you need a computer in which you connect the Cintiq. it shows the software you are running on your computer. hope it helped....

  • @bicargentino It did, so ontop of the tablet I need to spend more... Noted.

Im up to about 15k then if I want to actually do anythig with it.

    FUCK.

  • @nazaxprime dude.. how many sketchbooks and pens could you buy with 15k...

  • @xpez Not a single one that can do what I need to have done...

I got plenty of sketchbooks, and none of them can transfer and extrapolate into 3d data sets while animating and hosting services so others can join in on projects... while I upload backups to the cloud, ETC.

Another real benefit is, I would not need a warehouse for storage, or a pallet truck to deliver it...

    hmm

    Point taken, BTW.

  • I would never have to buy sketchbook and supplies ever again....

  • I think after establishing that he is drawing ON the cintiq they should have covered the rest of the video using direct feed from the screen.... so we dont see him. This would still show the variation in stroke and the tools in sketchbook pro

  • @acadgatsu Yeah, looks like "juniors first video editing gig" or Marcel is a real prima donna. Lol!

  • how does this version of sketchbook compare to Corel Painter XI?

  • i really need to check this out

  • Great hardware! great software! great and talented professional from Autodesk, however, I think the speed sketching is not helping to demonstrate a lot of things...I think an essential thing Marcel should explain in further videos is how to work with Layers and how you can manage them in Sketch Book Pro 2010...apart from that, great video.

  • We learn about Marcel's sketching skills but I want to know about the Cintiq and the pen sensitivity. His hands are covering the most interesting part. Next time film it from the left!

  • I have this problem with sketchbook were when i rotate my image or re-size it it becomes pixely and blury?

  • lol.bambo doesnt have screen u retard!

  • @cargascepat actually i've seen bambo ave a screen when it was big enough !!tho... more expensive than the normal ones..

  • @EvilChildGenius

Bamboo doesn't, bamboo is smaller version of Wacom tablet series.

The one with the screen is this one, the Cintiq.

  • one question:

cintiq can be connected with a computer portable?

  • they work with laptops, yes :)

  • @seanyyg sorry.... :S laptos? (i know... my bad english xD)

  • love my cintiq, need to learn this software.

  • Is there a CAD software to work on the cintiq 21UX. That is using the cintiq as a graph paper and drawing directly with the precise measurements . This would make software like autocad obsolete.

  • @iykist im looking for that software too.. it would be neat!

  • I love sketchbook Pro, use it on a gateway tabletpc works great!

  • I'd kill everyone who comments, just for one of those!

  • @monkeyology1 including yourself? now that wouldn't make much sense :)

  • @monkeyology1 you cant kill all of us!

  • @monkeyology1 Watch your mouth assbag, you're getting fresh.

  • @monkeyology1

I just got mine and it was cheap, I bought it from a designer that was moving to New Zealand and had no room for it. I paid only $500 CAD. it is awesome!!! :)

  • Or you could save your self £2000 and use a normal sketchpad?

  • No comparison. Try going from pastels, to paint, to ballpoint pen in seconds without making a mess.

  • wow

  • Wow, there's a digital ruler? I use Painter and Photoshop and I have to use an actual ruler on my wacom Cintiq 20wsx to get my lines, rofl.

  • @earwenwater Unless your cintiq has a screen, you'd probably be better off using the line tool.

  • All Cintiq's have a screen. What's your point?

  • err. lol I misread that for tablet XD.

  • vraiment très intéressant,superbe frontale.

  • why does this awesome tablet need to be so expensive?!

I mean, I can afford it, but as I am no pro, it would a waste of a lot of money :p

  • dude u can get an intuos , there are not expensive, and 4 learners like you, would be an awesome choice.

i got an intuos, and you can get obseced sketching.

    Good luck

  • it would have been fun to see the rest of the process, but it was very informative nonetheless.

Marcel de Jong is very talented.
