It's not about wheather they can sing or not, It's about their whole appearance and charisma. They make a big stage show wich is so much more than just singing. The singing is only a very small part in their success.
John and Edward have a second album coming out this August, all original songs. They've worked hard since this video, and have gained themselves millions. They have number 1's all over Europe, and Lipstick is the best selling song this year in SWEDEN. They're touring Ireland, and soon Germany, then onto a European tour. They work everyday from 5am and still find time to meet/tweet their fans. They're also close to 300,000 followers on Twitter (planetjedward).

They're better in the studio because yes, if you listen, you can hear the autotune; effects and what not. But, kudos to them, because while at times the singing was cringeful they seem to be more famous than some other people [Matt Cardle, Joe McElderry] and they didn't even come second place; let alone win it. Good on them! <3

They're amazing performers. They bring so much energy to the stage and they're fun to watch.
Many pop stars cannot sing and the dubbing electronics tweek their pitch and tone. I LIKE Jedward, not because they can sing, because we all know they can't sing, but I like their spirit. They are very young, but they can LEARN to sing over time??? Overall on balance they are entertaining and amusing, and one would enjoy watching them for a short while, but I doubt many would want to listen to their voices for long. They are no Nina Simone or Michael Buble, etc.
Have any of you tried to sing in a michrophone? It sounds like shit, that's the way it is. Also, JEdward is jumping around and dancing while singing, ofcourse it doesn't sound flawless.

i think the don't sing so well as normal because they are moving so much. It's difficult to sing amazing when you move so much! But i saw the performance in the UK and there it went better WITHOUT the backing singers. They ruined it!

The one year the UK actually put in some effort, we may lose out to an 'act' that a UK TV show made famous, and without the UK, they wouldn't be doing this. What a shame. The song is kind of catchy, but nothing special. People will vote for them because they think it'll be a laugh if they win.
Now here's a pair who's taking this competition seriously. If they win, then it's well-deserved. Imagine all the people who could have entered and done much better than them, except for the fact that they were too busy sitting on their moany whingey arses bitching about those who actually made the effort. Thankfully, the UK are voting in the first Semi Final, not the second, which means we can't contribute to them qualifying, Jedward are going to have to rely on other parts of Europe to get them to qualify.
Hopefully, Europe can see past all of the crazy and completely undeserved support these two jokes receive, and won't get them to qualify. I don't think I'll be able to endure them in the semi, and the final. Listening once is most definitely too much - twice is impossible.

i think the don't sing so well as normal because they are moving so much. It's difficult to sing amazing when you move so much! But i saw the performance in the UK and there it went better WITHOUT the backing singers. They ruined it!

The one year the UK actually put in some effort, we may lose out to an 'act' that a UK TV show made famous, and without the UK, they wouldn't be doing this. What a shame. The song is kind of catchy, but nothing special. People will vote for them because they think it'll be a laugh if they win.

Now here's a pair who's taking this competition seriously. If they win, then it's well-deserved. Imagine all the people who could have entered and done much better than them, except for the fact that they were too busy sitting on their moany whingey arses bitching about those who actually made the effort. I'm not usually a fan of the annoying twins from Ireland, but you have to respect that they're bloody giving it a go and not sacrificing their "talent" for simply looking cool. Good luck!

Thankfully, the UK are voting in the first Semi Final, not the second, which means we can't contribute to them qualifying, Jedward are going to have to rely on other parts of Europe to get them to qualify.
Hopefully, Europe can see past all of the crazy and completely undeserved support these two jokes receive, and won't get them to qualify. I don't think I'll be able to endure them in the semi, and the final. Listening once is most definitely too much - twice is impossible.

Let them live their dream... i personally think this is better then most songs that get through, its much better then our song, nothing on blue, they are good but have you heard that Lee Ryan guy... I think hes lost it someplace along the line..

So much drama on this seriously, the backing singers stole the song, you can't really hear john and edward at all, i wouldn't judge them on this go listen to the actual song because they are AMAZING and deserve everything they want in life ♥

@AineJedward Yes you're right, the backing singers do really steal the song. But not only becaus you can't hear john and edward at all, they seem to sing much clearer and cleaner. So one can think it's the primary intention to make the twins muted.
