I find it sounds the same foreward and backwards. John Lennon must have been extreamly high to create something like this cuz the true story is that he was his attic at his house with a friend messing around with a tape recorder while smoking joints and came up with this song. Paul hated this song so much though. The Beatles did a amazing job with the hoax by putting in the clues to make the public beleve Paul McCartney really was dead. I love how the Beatles experimented with sound and they are standard bearers in every sense of the word. That being said, this is NOT one of those great accomplishments. I hear this and I think the same thing as when I try to sit through an episode of Family Guy. What's the point? I do thank you for posting it though being that it's a part of their legacy.

The point is that there's a way to say something without spelling it out. It's a way to voice emotion and indescribable thoughts or feelings. I like avant-garde for its ability to take people out of their comfort zone. Instead of giving them what they expect or what they're used to, they are treated to a dream-like unreality that is often more real or, at least, more honest.
