they should have fight competitions instead of chi sao...the reason i say this is because there are a lot of things you can get away with in chi sao mainly because the bridge is given to u, willingly...but what you have to ask yourself is are you training properly to get as much as you can out of chi sao? or are you using chi sao as a tool for training how to fight because if thats the case you mind as well just put on gloves and duke it out...chi sao is a training tool to sharpen your weapons
