Hey James, those 2 things on the front of the case, where did u buy them and what models. I assume they are for fan control and something else, right? Please point me in the right direction on where to get those things. Thanks. I am pretty much trying to follow your built but with air cooling and P67 Gigabyte UD7. Send me a list of all your parts. Thanks. Hope to see it soon.
Your flow is wrong you have your outlet from your pump going into your rez. The top hole in your pump is an outlet which goes to your radiator. Go from Rad to cpu from CPU to Rez . From rez to inlet on pump. Your flow will be better and youll get better temps. IMO
@SixXxShooTeR83 Right, but the point I'm making is that the main objective of fans on a computer case is to create negative pressure in the case, so to suck any air from the rest of the room (supposively colder) in, and to stimulate this suction, 1 fan would be enough. I bet that if you have only 1 intake, it would be more effective, and keep your system cooler.
first, nice setup.... i was wondering on your spiner reservoir.. is your water loop goes from the pump>res>rad>chipset>cpu.... How did you made your spinner goes fast and how did you fill your pump without going to the reserve first...I put my loop as res>pump>chipset>cpu>rad.. Could you please help and and give me some ideas... I think the only way to make that spinner goes fast is from pump to res but how do you fill it...
Im curious as to why you used the 120mm on the hard drive and the vent at the bottom of the mobo area? It was designed for a 140mm fan which can be quieter than what you have easier.
how good is your gaming and overclocking ablity? whats crysis for ur on max everything? and how cool is ur video card on 100% load? and also i love the lights and stuff. u backed up looks with performance, i give u 2 THUMBS UP!
32 deg. while running WinAMP, that's pretty good? What? Oh, and dude, 3 intake fans? I hope for you that the top ones are blowing outwards... The fuck.
@Eraknelo Yeah it was a good watercooling setup while I had it. Yup the top 3 were exhaust, but seriously this case needs all the intake it can get...
@SirJamesDDJ Do you still have this setup though? I love the case and have been wanting one for a while, but I only just got my HAF X, and my biggest concern is cooling. I have mostly everything on water, but even then, Id have to setup my rad 360 uptop drawing air from inside the case to get rid of warm air!
@Lupic95 It's too big and it's ugly especially the frony, actually only the front, if they made less swappable HDD'S and put a huge LED fan then it'd be nice
My god how can you even hear yourself think..... Yea i have watercooling too, but i can't hear my computer, i actually have to check the powerled if the screens have gone into powersave mode. I just hate fan noise. And my case is a fairly small lian-li case. i had to modify it with an anglegrinder to fit the 360 rad. You haven't watercooled your video cards either...
Where did you get the LED strips? I cant find any. When I search, car underbody LEDs come up. Id like one of those blue ones. Speaking of blue, I think your computer would look great with just that icy blue color. Take out the green and orange LED strips, change the cooling tubes to black and it would look awesome. Just my opinion of course :).
Hey man, where can I buy water cooling like that? I don't know of any of the websites that sell stuff to modd PC but I would like a cool glowing and just a colored fluid water cooling system! Any help would be great thanks!
@SirJamesDDJ try sidewindercomputers and jab-tech their great too. I think frozencpu is overpriced and crazy. PPcs is awesome though they have everything. i like ur rig by the way.
you have a liquid cooling system in your pc, but you need 5 fans that sound like blowdryers? buy waterblocks for your videocards, i have basically the same setup exept the case (reason im looking at your vid is because i want the 800d) and with the cpu@4.2ghz and both my gtx285's@771mhz idle temps are 30-32c gpu's and around 35c cpu. MAX 45c gpu's gaming and 50c cpu gaming (and prime95, 3dmark testing). i have a triple and double 120mm radiator and everything in 1 loop(cpu, sli, mobo,vReg)
What are your voltages at for 4Ghz? My cooler can do better than 3.5Ghz, but I'm not sure about going over 1.35 volts. I am water-cooled, so that might be OK. However, I like to play it safe.
@nuclearbananaphone What cpu do you have? I have a i7 920 C0/C1 runs at 1.45 24/7 until now, temps were too high ( air ) so i just went to 3.3 at 1.28, drops temps way too much to justify running at 3.81
what kind of radiator is that? i didn't understand whatcha said.. if you could tell me where you got all your water cooling supplies, that would be awesome. im looking to upgrade my NZXT Tempest case to this Corsair 800D, just trying to find a cheap case.

@iamarawn this is one of the largest cases you can buy as far as interior real estate. SirJames just has a TON of LARGE gear inside of it. Any other case wouldn't have taken the setup he has internally.
I'm getting the same case soon. But I will change all the fans to 140mm Noctua fans. And add three 120mm Noctua fans at the top. (The 700rpm ones for exhaust.)

@tombiddles Maybe you wanted SirJames' answer but anyway: The Corsair Hydro Series H50 comes with a 120.1 so I'm sure you'll be fine with a 120.3.

You mean the case is small? Biggest one I've ever seen. Although the Lian Li P80 is the only other one I was looking at.
