  • @hitchmasters

aww.. :c im so sorry for your loss!! how did you lose him, if i might ask?

  • he's so pretty i have holstein heifers my own but still small. May i ask how you trained him to ride?

  • Aweee!! :( i sorry yall lost him. he looked so sweet!

  • Amazing animal. Very cool.

  • Beutifull.. It's great to see how cow can actually be your friend. People usually just put them in stable and feed and say "It's just a cow". :/ Althought, I don't like the pulling part, no matter how big she was.

    Btw. What's the song?

  • Beautiful animal, could even see intelligence in his eyes. I've never seen a Holstein that large, even growing up in Wisconsin, save for the Cedar Crest cow statue in Manitowoc!

  • man my mouth is watering right now. I want some beef.

  • at second 57 looks like a storm rolling in

  • I am sorry you lost him, he is such a sweet soul! I love how he is looking at the team of horses like "Yeah, sure they are a matching set but I make pulling the cart look Great!"

  • @Caliekat15 thank u

  • @hitchmasters Yall should have called Guinness world records I bet he would have one. He looked like a real sweet boy.

  • @tipper042002 we did but they dont come for nothing, u got to pay,

  • @hitchmasters really? pay to be in a book they make millions on?! sorry for your loss

  • @tipper042002 There's some guy in Italy with an ox that's 6'8", which would be 20HH. Look's lke y'all really enjoyed your time with Big Mac!

  • I've trained a team of angus ox to pull a cart and a sled, and I rode one of them, but they never got near this big, and were never this versatile. How did you get the saddle to stay on without rolling? I never could, but maybe it's just body shape difference..

  • @Georgia4God As a holstein his spine was high enuff to keep the saddle on with ease

  • kuuhler ox.....wie groß is der ?

  • i have never seen a holstein that big

  • What a beautiful animal!!

  • That's an ox? Looks like a holstein.

  • @diandra128 Ok !! an Ox is a steer u can drive !!! not a breed , so there for an Ox can be holstein , short horn , angus , ect

  • DAMN.......thats all i have to say!!!!

  • i feel bad for that big boys mother!

  • was he ever at a Vegerville Fair? i was there one year and there was a huge ox there but it was lying down so you couldnt really see it. and i wa at a distance so i never actually got to go see it

  • :41 When you drive him, do you use a bit or a nose ring? looks like a bit? If so what kind do you recommend?

  • @gryphonkeen oh a bit it just s straight bar bit that i made

  • @hitchmasters

Is it a Holstein steer ?

  • @johnsenkenn no a holstein is a breed, a steer is a bull thats been neutered

  • @hitchmasters

    I know.....but is it a steer, I don't see any balls.

  • @johnsenkenn yes hes a steer, since he was a few hours old

  • Which one is stronger Big Mac or one of your percherons?

  • @imfarmraised oh big max for sure

  • @hitchmasters did you raise him from bottle?? and how hard is it to train one to do that type of work

  • i just love this guy, I keep coming back and watching this :D

  • Very cool

  • I'd love to see more vids. Maybe vids of training.

  • Big Mac looks like "one of the family". What a neat guy. He he purebred Holstein?

  • That is a large Steer!!! Is it larger than a draft horse? How does it get along with horses?

  • I dont have any drafter right now that are 19HH and I dont think there's one thats as heavy he gets along with every one

  • I dont know!! I have been told that holstein bulls get very large but i have never seen an ox this big, I am sure hes has growen this summer again, I have been told that they dont stop growing!

  • The biggest cow I have ever seen!!

  • not a cow.... a steer actully but still big...

  • he's a big 'ol thing.

    Big as a Charlois.

And he has an awkward build... lol

  • He a lot bigger than a charlais, I think it would have to be another Holstien to beat him for size

  • He is HUGE.

  • He is a Holstein steer

  • HOLY COW THATS A BIG COW! lol! but he's CUTE! i love the pic with the little child on his back and his head bigger the kids whole body!

  • He's huge. What breed is he?

  • Wow... he is one big boy!!

But he looks like such a sweet heart and that you guys love him very much!!!

Can I take him for a spin??? lol

  • Thats great! Do you guys ride it like a horse? Just out of curiosity, how are its gaits?

  • from a walk to a fast trot are all the same, kind of a rolling left leg lead, very easy to sit

  • I was at a harvest in North Battleford and a Gown lady screamed and ran from the barn saying the he was going to eat her, even after I assured her that he was a herbivore and with out canines and that her cat had more aggression she made such a fuss that my 4 year old had to go and soothe the hurt feeling of his OX

  • Yeah he's big but gentle as a lamb! we take him with us to shows when we can and give rides, we also use him to introduce inner city kids to farm life and that size has no bearing on aggression!

  • jesus man is that paul bunion's ox. I'll see if i can get the vid of a moose that get's hitched and pulls giant logs.

  • OMG that cow is the biggest I have ever seen. And people are riding Cow's. What will they think of next?LMAO
