No , how it really works is u buy one and u lose all of ur spells. So u have to start over again and when all ur spells are full again u can get a new prestage until u have 10th.

There is no ''best book''

but i'll tell you this, arcane gate is a must, in any match. without it, theres a good chance you'll lose if you get knocked into water.

Secondly, have a re-chargable tower in your book, it will always come handy.

Defence a-side, i also recommend having lightening shield as well as light shield for close combat.
