WOW GREAT! 1st gear 50! how you do that?? what mods do you have?? did you change your gearbox? i have AE101 ... 4AFE but my redline starts at 6000 not 6500...why is that? but i do redline (i mean reach6000) often but didnt had any trouble. i think its safe to reach it for short periods specally in toyota engines.
this looks like the ae92 instrument cluster? so different taco maybe? ae92 has 1st gen 4AFE and ae101 has 2nd gen. but theyre the same pretty much. i have an ae101 4AFE it gets to 50km/h in 1st (stock) and with some mods like intake, extractors and tweeking the timing it gets to 60km/h in 1st easy. good for dragging in 60km/h speed limit zones haha. then the stupid commodores keep going becasue they dont understand how a little 1.6 beat them so they keep going and then the pigs pull them over

is 10w-40 ok? how about 20w-50 in summer? (20 - 35 degrees celcius)

Mine goes around 40 km/h@1st, 80@2nd, 130@3rd, 185@4th and 5th gear is for traveling at 185 km/h :D

Dude, PURE STOCK ae92's can reach 50kph or so in 1st gear, just max out the engine, dont be scared. it wont blow. just shift at below 6.1
