Can't any of these dorks write their own material? They either rip off licks from old pop songs or perform outright covers. This is Love Cats by The Cure--if anyone is interested just play the two songs in sync and see for yourself. Babyshambles simply changed the end note. The bass line (which is the 'hook' in this tune), is note for note from Love Cats. It's so obvious, it's embarrassing. Anyone can rip off a hook, add some lyrical cliches and call it a "new song".
