  • Why should United States cant worry about americans first

  • When will be that the world public opinion will know that Fidel Castro is dead and that another Fidel Castro, a double one, is in Cuba? Believe or not, but that is the true!!!!!!

  • But in CUBA more than ten millions of Cuban PEOPLE are suffering during more than 50 years in a big "Extermination Camp Passive...." Freedom for all the Cuban People for that Mafia revolutionary of the Castro family.....!!!!!

  • Dictators don't teach the poor literacy. Dictators don not provide free medical care. Dictators don not ration the food products among the people. Dictators don not organize teams of doctors to go and provide free medical care to the poor in third world countries. If Fidel is a Dictator, then he is a strange one. If all Dictators were like Fidel, then fuck democracy........

  • What human right is more important than free healthcare from the best doctor, free education at it's highest level and really free Homeland. And let me remind you why Cuba is poor and why people has no food...THE FUCKING EMBARGO...............Fidel is not just a Cuban, Fidel IS Cuba...

  • u Call Me a Refugee ill KNOCK UR NASTY REDNECK ASS OUT BITCH!!!!!!!

  • A goverment is a tool of the ruling class in capitalist countries that is the bourgois class and in socialist countries the workers class. the goal of the workers class is to eliminate all classes and the goal of the bourgous is to maintain the status quo

(of exploitation) .This is the basic to understand all this capitalist vs communism war , if there's still anybody actually buy that it was all about liberating the socialism countries from dictatorships....

  • @pinkkang why was it allright if the cia overthrew the gouvernment and replaced if with an cruel but usa friendly dictatorship ? Capitalism cannot be considered an ideology since it can never show its true colours and intentions. since only the ones that don't understand it believe in it and the one that do pretend they believe in it so they can use it for their own benifit. Capitalism lives from political retardation and manipulation ,communist fail cuz it easier to keep dump then to educate

  • @pinkkang maybe not so clear : i meant there are two kinds of capitalists : the stupid ones that don't know how it works, what it produces and the smart kind that understands the system perfectly and support capitalism only for personal interest

  • how this cuba abuses the money ? does castro put it in his pockets like the millionairs in america doe with their money or does it go straight to the people ?

  • Cukba need to get rid of the sephardim european spaniard mafia decendents, the US A is the viiolator of human rights outside of ISRAEL and APARTHEID (ZIONIST) SOUTH AFRICA LeKosher Nostra owned the slave trade plantations, rum production etc, Che & Fidel (pissed in the cornflakes) put an end to hundreds of years of capital gains of the Sephardim. UNFORGIVABLE!

  • Cuba should be paid reparations. the US is in no position to dictate morality to anyother people. just read "The Fourth of July Address " by Fredric Douglass . as far as DEMOCRACY is concerned , what did it do for the CHEROKEE, APACHE, NAVIHO, BLACK FOOR , CROW. Cubas problems come from outside interference, most people in US kknow nothing of the history of Cuba. Cubas problems started with Christopher Columbus. riddle me this what happened to the Tanios.

  • the people looked pretty happy cheering Fidel Castro on today!

  • Frank Calzon urgently needs to learn to listen! Damn what an annoying little fart!

  • What a horribly unbalanced discussion. Three to one, and I say three to one, because Peter Levelle, the moderator is far from impartial. He makes no qualms about supporting a lifting of the embargo, and he asks leading questions, what's more, he attacks the sole pro-embargo panelist Frank Calzon. I commend Calzon for keeping his cool despite the idiocy of people like Prof. De la Torre who does nothing more than spew out inaccuracies.

  • cuba should tell usa to fuck off they dont need them they need china

  • Frank your a a--hole.

  • What's up with Sylvester at 4:20? xDD

  • I live in america and I dont believe it is our right to tell another country what to do. WHo the fuck do these assholes talk on behalf of? Sure cubans are suffering but we have hundreds of military bases all over the world, and for what? Our empire of and fascist govt does not need to be involved with things they have no control over. I think its time for an insurrection

  • >hundreds of military bases all over the world, and for what?

More bases -> more influence -> stronger dollar -> more countries accepts it -> more wealth for transnat. corp-s and for their personal (for you).

Now look if to remove bases:

less bases -> less influence -> less countries accepts dollar -> economical crash ->the end of dollar -> the citizens became poor -> probable collapse of the US.

Agree, it is fascism, but it makes your life standards higher than you could produce.

  • @Nitrorus

How can you say that the govt we have in america gives me a higher standard of living? WTF At one point in time that would have been more obtainable. What we have today in the US is a propaganda brain washing machine, schools are no longer educating free thought and critical thinking. It is about the socialist communist ideals, collective. And yes the US is in for some tough times ahead, collapse probable.

  • >How can you say...

I didn't say that it's good for you in long perspective. Damn 500-digit limit -- impossible to say all in one message. But hyper militarization gives that you higher living standards is fact. Let's see what will happen, when almost all foreign bases will be closed.

    >It is about the socialist communist ideals, collective.

There is no single soc. or com. ideal in the US. There were no homeless or jobless people in USSR; but free medicine, education and a flat. ;-)

  • @360atGOD We are not telling another country what to do, we are telling a bloodthirsty dictator who does not have the Cuban people's mandate because he has never won a single free election.

  • @Rayarena

When it comes to oppression what is better? Someone who steals elections through the use and control of technology, or one who forces his way into office? While there are stark differences between US and Cuba, if you look at it closely the more you see similarities. Are there problems in Cuba? Yes, problems in the US of course so who is better off?

  • @360atGOD There's an ocean of difference between the USA and Cuba and its odious to make a comparison. While we are unquestionably a flawed democracy , we are nevertheless a democracy. Cuba is not even a flawed democracy, it's an outright totalitarian tyranny without independent judiciary or habeas corpus without freedom of expression, freedom of assembly, without a free press, without opposition parties, or free labor unions, without free elections, etc...

  • @Rayarena

I hate to tell you this but the US is only the illusion of a DEMOCRACY. The country was founded as a REPUBLIC. America was built on a tyrannical blueprint. Just ask the former IRS agents who where forced to retire because the couldn't find a law requiring americans to pay taxes. Were now a FACIST govt, controlled by the corporations. Free press is dead Benito Mussolini said Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.

  • @Rayarena

Im disappointed that you live in a country and you know absolutely nothing about it, thats your first problem. How do you know anything about CUBA?

  • @360atGOD You're the one who knows absolutely nothing about Cuba, if you really believe that Cuba is not that different from the USA. In any case, comparing the USA [even with all of its flaws] to Cuba only serves to trivialize the horror that is Cuba: a country that has the singular distinction of having had created concentration camps for gay people, a country where peaceful librarians are arrested & brutalized for circulating book & where one family has ruled for 51 election-free years.

  • @Rayarena

I never claimed to know anything about cuba, but the fact of the matter is half the poeple in the US don't know whats going on. How can you debate whos worse off? Reason 1 while the US is headed for complete collapse, the new generation of youth is being sold worthlessness. 2nd, The complete control of all media outlets has been completed. 3 The federal reserve is a PRIVATE CORPORATION.

  • @360atGOD Again, I know that we are flawed, I know that we are going down a wrong path, all that you say about the U.S. is ABSOLUTELY TRUE. However, there is still no comparison with Cuba, simply because if the USA is a bad cold, Cuba is a deadly case of full-blown pneumonia. That's about as close as the comparison can come.

  • Claiming that Cuba releasing a "handful" of so called political prisoners doesn't meet US expectations is unfair. Over 50 prisoners is more then a handful and some of those released were actually common criminals charged with serious crimes! They didn't claim to be political prisoners until they were imprisoned and saw it as a tool to assist them in their release. Orlando Zapata committed crimes ranging from unlawful entry of a house to fraud. Guillermo Fariñas physically assaulted 2 women.

  • @takotheoktopus

In 2000, Orlando Zapata fractured the skull of Leonardo Simon using a machete. Since June 1990, he had been arrested and convicted several times for disturbing the peace, two counts of fraud, public exhibitionism, injury and possession of non-firearm weapons. Let's not forget that the USA is currently holding 5 Cubans prisoner Gerardo Hernández, Antonio Guerrero, Ramón Labañino, Fernando González, and René González on trumped up charges. Free the Cuban 5 Obama!

  • Fucking Hispanic haters, oh well, Latino América needs to unify to expulse the European dominion in America, America for true Americans. ¡Viva Cuba, viva México y toda Latino América! ¡Abajo con el imperio gringo!

  • I would like to see the old Cuba come back!

  • Fulgencio Batista was a tyrant who was supported by the US corporations, American mafia (Lansky, Luciano) and US government. Batista was so incredibly corrupt that it was fairly easy for an ill-equipped Fidel force to over throw him. At this point there could have been a happy ending except that the Mafia (CIA) and US corporations thought they owned Cuba and not the Cuban people. Then after Kennedy’s bungled Bay of Pigs the relationship hit bottom.

  • @cheddyrod I agree with you, Batista was corrupt. So, what's your point? This is the year 2010 and Cuba is again dominated by another corrupt [and far, far more bloodthirsty] tyrant.

  • @Rayarena How many times have you been to Cuba?

  • Poverty is the #1 indicator of life expectancy. Both Cuba and the USA have the exact same life expectancy, Cuba has 0% malnutrition rate, and has the highest literacy of any country in the world. The people that left in the beginning fromcuba to the USA were land owners and exploiters, the people leaving now are victims of the US blockade. Cuba is much better with castro than cuba would be under anyone else.

  • @Hilldebrand Cuba doesn't allow independent surveyors to determine its actual life expectancy, malnutrition & literacy. The statistics you're citing are those given to the UN by Cuba itself. Pretty self-serving if you ask me. Regarding the people who left Cuba, you should really stop repeating Castroite propaganda. While many wealthy people left in the early sixties, not everyone was an exploiter. Most were decent law-abiding merchants & professionals, important in the fabric of all societies.

  • Viva la Revolución Cubana! Viva el pueblo de Cuba!

  • @Popajaja

    Lift the blockade on Cuba!

  • Peter thinks the U.S health care system sucks. What a dumbass..

  • @phazon100 You are the dumb-ass!

  • I LOVE it when Peter LaVelle makes the statement that the USA, Israel, and Marshall Islands are the only countries to support the "embargo" on Cuba. Kinda of like Russia(Putin&Medvedev) doing the same with Abkhazia and South Ossetia where Nicaragua, Venezuela and the tiny Pacific island state of Nauru have recoginized their so called non existant "soverignty"......Talk about a "double" standard or is it ignoarance?

  • @JohnnyInHampton

fair enough after kosovo and a war against this to republics and russia itself by georgia

  • Miguel De La Torrel sounds like he has something in his mouth. Rickey Martin would be very proud of him! Miguel , here is some advice, "GO HOME TO CUBA", like Eilo Gonzalez. Remember him? "papa, I do not want to go to the USA".......good stay in Cuba and rot!

  • Frank Calzon is the ONLY person on this "panel" that has an "open" mind and SPEAKS the truth! Why is it when someone has an opposing view to the current Communist/Socialist agenda of Russia Today(RT), the host gets upset and establishes his "territory" like a child crying to his mom......

  • @JohnnyInHampton RT is the de facto state media outlet of a right wing, oligarcho-capitalist dictatorship. I hardly think it has a "communist/socialist" agenda. In fact it's routinely hostile to socialism. They play up Soviet history as a nationalist ploy, but they do so devoid of political and economic content - to reinforce an authoritarian capitalist state.

  • @jammoexii Fair enough, however, they do NOT take the "plank out of their own eye while pointing out the "spec in the eye of the USA" constantly. They continually "laugh" at every American media outlet(CNN/FOX/MSNBC..etc) while holding themselves at the "ONLY" true media outlet that is trully fair and balanced. I agree with the "oligarcho/dictatorship" comment but disagree with your "capitalistic" ideals.......

  • Cathy complains that the Cubans do not have cheese for their Pizza's.......why doesn't Putin send them FREE cheese, after all, a Communist is a Communist, is a Communist.

  • Why does Pater LaVelle say, "Crosstalk Rules, JUMP in anytime you want ", however, when someone "speaks" up, Peter LaVelle's "Cross Talk Rules, JUMP in anytime you want" does NOT applyn and Peter LaVelle has a caniption! WHY?

  • 63% of Russians think Castro is an "outstanding" leader! Are you serious? Peter said that Cubans have better "health care" than Americans do? Is he serious? This is "truthful" jounalism? Cathy Areu "appluades" the Cubans as she states that they are the "LITTLE Guy" causing problems for the "BIG BULLY"(USA) USA and for this, she is PROUD? You rotten person! Go to your "homeland" even though you were probally born in American. Cathy, GO TO CUBA!

  • WHY is it the responsibility of the USA to BUILD and SUPPORT these COMMUNISTS? Why doesn't Putin take his "bare" chest and BUILD Cuba from scratch?

  • I find it "utterly" amazing that Caty Areu and Miguel De La Torre can speak so negatively about the USA while LIVING in the USA! If these Cubans/Cuban Americans despise everything about the USA, I have one question, "WHY DON'T you LEAVE"? I am so sick and TIRED of hearing these people bash America and its government, WHY don't they just live in Moscow and support Putin and DEMAND Russians SUPPORT these "welfare" SOCIALISTIC/COMMUNISTIC governments!!!! Miguel and Cathy are SICKENING!

  • Wait a minute! Was this the Cuba who almost single handily caused "Nuclear" annilation when they allowed Soviet Missles on its territory to "wipe out" America? Now, Peter Lavelle DEMANDS that the USA(taxpayer) to further support the welfare of Cubans? I have a question, "why doesn't Moscow SUPPORT by supplying ALL of Cuba's needs and desires? Why is itb always America's resposnsibility? Peter LaVelle's assertation that Fidel Castro is a "true" leader is laughable!

  • A Cuba Ive always had a place for you :) I hope someday I can visit you and spend time with my brothers from the Caribbean :)

  • The Cuban peope don't have the niceities of life, NOT because of any embargo by the US. But because they make 1 Peso a day. That's how it is in Communist and Socialist Countires that are set up and raped by the Knights of Malta, who own and control the World Bank

  • Hell yeah!!! Might as well bring in slave wage goods from Cuba. We do from all the other Slave Wage Nations on earth now. There must be at least 4 or 5 manufacturers left here in the States, that would love to set up offshore Corporate Headquarters in Cuba.

  • The biggest reason for this stupid embargo is the electoral votes Florida has in the presidential elections. The candidates see this need to pander to the Cuban community. The US government cannot admit that the fiasco Bay of Pigs invasion was the reason that solidified Castro in power.

  • Fidel said F U to America and lived... for a Latin American President that is a miracle in itself...

with no Castro their would be no Las Vegas...

  • A cubain once told me...........

    to talk about cuba

one has to live in cuba.

  • @fertzz what else did he tell you?

  • US government sponsored and supported terrorist acts against Cuba have caused the death of 3478 Cuban citizens and physical injuries to 2099 others.

  • i don't know much about Fidel so for me i can't really say bad or good.

  • OMG!!! They HAVE NO CHEESE FOR PIZZA IN CUBA! Stop the embargo now, so people of Cuba can finally be liberated with Pizza

  • @gigobait LOL!!!

  • Marxist live long, The big fish soon will get eaten up by the one and only, the almighty!

  • Lets cut right to it, nothing you can say about Cuba can't be said about Saudi Arabia, China, and a half dozen other countries we trade with.

  • Another good show Peter.

  • WOW. this host is an idiot. Cuban healthcare is horrible. Im cuban and my family gets sick and die all the time. Free health care when theres nothing is horrible. There are no supplies and medicine. the people have nothing.

  • @Plat465 Sure you are...

  • Lol that shit was funnnyyyy.@19:10 WELL LOOK!!!

  • Cathy is kinda hot. Lol peter is funny...he must have heard that adage before

  • All Commies suck, including the ones on the panel. The US should embargo all Marxist Socialist countries. Yes, including those in Europe

  • @DirkChesterfieldEsq that would just accelerate the collapse of the U.S economy.

  • There are nearly infinite resources to create energy. But capitalism purposely uses oil, coal and other resources that ARE actually scarce, ONLY for profit and control.

If we used the resources we have, including substitutes, EFFICIENTLY, we could create sustainable ABUNDANCE of consumables (eg food, water, energy) and universal ACCESS to everything else (eg transport, info).

The 'money/property system' is the ROOT cause of all problems and it is obsolete.

    v=yPmHaTirnCc

  • Frank was a bit of a comic, and one wonders what he would be doing now, if Batista had not been replaced by Castro. The present regime is certainly not perfect, but it did replace a far worse one. We should all thank Castro for that, as well as standing up to the world wide bully.

  • How the fuck is Batista better? It's not like Fidel is any good, but don't start talking some bullshit about it being better under Batista.

  • Glory to Cuba, Glory to the revolution!

    Power for the people!

  • fidel castro could be in power for so many years only "thanks to" the u.s. embargo and not "in spite of" the u.s. embargo.

so the "castro haters" in fact consolidated castros power.

how incredibly stupid have they been.

  • At least on RT neocons look stupid! Also why should america want a certain government in Cuba. Cubans have let communist run the country for 50 years, so they clearly support them.

  • Most people that stand in FAVOR OF THE EMBARGO operate from the point of view that the United States can do no wrong and an enormous resentment towards the Castro Regime. I grew up hating Castro (I'm Cuban American), but when I "grew up" and learned about how corrupt the government of my country (USA) really is...things changed. I do not support the lack of free press, etc. in Cuba...but with all the admitted CIA attempts to assassinate Castro, I can see how they operate under a state of war.

  • @tainorebelde1

respect if true, to see the other view point and to stend up and speak for yourself in conditions were everyone around you oppose your viewpoints is hard, very hard

  • its all part of opening the borders up ,as with mexico...LET EM ALL IN OBAMA EH,THEN THE US CAN FULLY COLLAPSE fs.Alex Jones rules again .Download the ENDGAME people Wake up\!!!!!!

  • 400 of the Worlds Best Doctors from CUBA showed up B4 anyone got to HAITI ! I love the ppl of CUBA ! Open DIPLOMACY ! and with IRAN also ! I am voting for Alan Grayson for POTUS in 2012* Rock The Vote !

  • Agree all 3 are Anti-Fidel

  • @cellan88

    Yes true...even the host.

  • this is fascist propaganda against cuba. bad job.

  • @luissting I don't know, but why would the US policy become a success? Don't Cuban agenda matter in Cuba?

  • cuba mexico one biggest drug dealr countreys to make cocaine to usa fuck them

  • I love my Cuban princess!!!!!

  • Fuck the bullynited states

  • and realy whats up RT? you guys invited 3 cuba haters who actually have all the same opinion, thats not "Cross"-Talk

  • @RedGunBullets

    How are they "cuba haters"?

  • @Happyspancer

they are cuba haters in its momental state, this people are the biggest supporters of the cuba embargo that let ther country and ther country men starve in the bad time, sorry but someone who is ok to let people of his country (cuba) stave to achieve some personal agenda is a hater of this country

  • @RedGunBullets

    I agree with you 100%.

Next time I will refrain from commenting before watching the whole program.

  • @RedGunBullets I also agree with you 100% voting you up!!!! They are only discusing over the same thing!!! There is not different views!!!

  • the people suffered in the 90's when the east collapsed and usa wanted to starve cuba, but now cuba is one of the best growing economies in the world

  • Bring back Elian Gonzalez!! lmao

  • this is a completely anti Cuba panel.

  • The United states started all of this, they need to stop the embargo and stop pretending that is all Castro's fault, Castro isn't the best leader but because of the bay of pigs one of the many united states blunders they have made a long lasting enemy

  • Well, all I know is that the US has panicked since the discovery of several hundreds of billions of barrels of oil in Cuba. Embargo? What embargo?

  • Cuban Americans, who live under the U.S. government love to criticize the Cuban government in Havana. Given their overall well off place in American society, its the pot calling the kettle black. They should be critcizing the totalitarian U.S. government, but they wont because their greedy, jealous old bastards. Chrome dome is ignorant of reality of just a dirty liar, likely just a dirty old bastard.

  • US government destroyed Cuba internally back in the 60s.

  • agree with them

  • Cuba is greatest country in the world, the US is the smallest !

  • welcome fidel.

  • @tegarac brilliant.
