The Circuits Maximus plotline is poignant now because that was caused by Obadiah Stane, a plot which ended with the Iron Monger, both of which are in the new movie. ;) Maybe I should have included clips from Iron Man #200 in here. Although I think its in the cover montage.

Just goes to show you cant please everyone. To me Iron Man begins and ends with Bob Layton. Everything else, (ESPECIALLY 60's era), just looks so darn primitive. And dont get me started on the clunky coffee can armor of the 90s, or the godawful Iron Man Inevitable (spell?) series right now.
But Bob Layton has a website at (you guessed it) boblayton,com where he posts artwork and ancedotes of his days on the book. It wouldnt hurt to go give it a look, he might win you over.
Erm, not bad, but the titles are too fast to read, and I expected more than just stills. The music was also wierdly mixed. I know that you cut it and slapped it together, but should have worked on it a bit.

I really liked it. they should just replace those frames with live action versions and then theyll have their trailer.

Again- this is a great idea and you did a terrific job putting it together. This would be a great teaser concept for any comic book movie. They could release the trailer right after the movie goes into pre-production!
I had second thoughts about mentioning it -unfortunately after I posted my comment.. I'm just such a 60s guy that the Kirby/Buscema/Heck IM and the Perez Avengers IM from the 70s will always resonate with me. I enjoyed Layton's books. Great job, again.

Can't stand the Romita/Layton era look. I wish you'd stuck with the earlier stuff and finished with the later stuff. Kirby, Perez, etc. No Layton, for sure. Echhh.
Still- nice job, and it's good to see how excited you are about the film. Kudos.

Just goes to show you cant please everyone. To me Iron Man begins and ends with Bob Layton. Everything else, (ESPECIALLY 60's era), just looks so darn primitive. And dont get me started on the clunky coffee can armor of the 90s, or the godawful Iron Man Inevitable (spell?) series right now.
But Bob Layton has a website at (you guessed it) boblayton,com where he posts artwork and ancedotes of his days on the book. It wouldnt hurt to go give it a look, he might win you over.

Erm, not bad, but the titles are too fast to read, and I expected more than just stills. The music was also wierdly mixed. I know that you cut it and slapped it together, but should have worked on it a bit.
