Millions of peopl eplay video games, not all of those millions shoot their parents id they take the game away. This kid is psychotic and should be thrown into a cell for the rest of his life as he can't clearly function in society.
Go and educate yourself on the way the justice system works.
The defense attorney knows he is guilty, but it is his job to make sure that whatever verdict is reached is fair. To do that, he needs to fight as hard to defend Petric as the prosecution fights to convict him.
