We now have an endless (and imaginary) war on terror so lawmakers can take away our civil liberties whenever they want.

That's where central banks come in. the Federal Reserve is America's central bank. I'm an engineer...and that amount of steel boggles the mind...and for it to dissapear in 10 seconds? falling at (nearly) freefall...through the path of maximum resistance (columns)? Who had access to the core columns? Security was done by Securecom. Look them up. Everyone would immediately blame them...so you need another story to start a war.
