I love the cantu for my twist out. It makes it very soft, a dull sheen if any though you are definitely right. I use the cantu super sheen to bring give my hair sheen and bring it back to life after a few days have gone by. But its a good product.

the whipped cream is known for being good with twists and locks but it really works better with regular kinky hair

I tried that curls whipped cream and it did the same with my hair, my hair was not defined and so i just decided i would just use it when my hair gets longer maybe it will work then. My hair looks to be the same length as yours, but i have heard a lot about the cantu shea butter and i acturally purchased it and ended up giving it away because i was going to go curly girl but i decided against that because i have found products that are not natural that works just fine in my hair and its growing
