Great voice and great control of that voice; solid pop song. Would be even better with the bass guitar mixed a little more forward and the electric guitar a little more distorted and louder. By the way, whatever happened to Taylor Dayne? She was huge for a while and then seemed to disappear.

@BRealBTru I met her a couple of years ago. She still produces albums and released one a year ago. The record companies cant own her so they cut her out. I saw her at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens in a concert. It was supposed to be an hour, IT WENT FOR 3! Afterward she still greeted fans. I never forgot how much she put into that. Now she is an official supporter of my TOTALLY MUSIC ARTIST CHANNEL, check the friendslist. She was one of the first to support it.Shes totally a class act!

The issue is, 1) the music industry in the US HATES FEMALE ARTISTS, and 2) The same as Leann Rimes, her voice is so powerful that they dont know what to do with it. I had live experiences with both these gals that really brought that point out. In 07 I saw Leann live at Chastain Park Atlanta.They had to RESTART BLUE 5-6 times BECAUSE HER VOICE WAS MORE THAN THE AMPS COULD HANDLE so they cut them way down.I saw Taylor in 08 and similar thing happened. These gals can just SING!

@mediterraneanqueen I think the problem is the contrast between the edge in her voice, and the treble on the guitars. The drums are fine. The bass needs to be brought forward a bit and smoothed out, and the lead guitars need to match the intensity of the drums a bit more. Those changes would give this song more punch.

They really screwed her career. This woman had a once in a lifetime type voice, and instead of this talent they gave us whitney. I knew music was in the toilet then. I saw Taylor a couple years ago at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens concert. She was OVER the top. And over her time, instead of a promised hour, she gave us nearly 3! I never saw a performer work that hard. It was an amazing evening ILL NEVER FORGET. The autgraphed photo I got either!
