I have 4 outdoor cats. They're all 8-13. If you live by a busy highway or the city, then it's necessary. But I live on a cul-de-sac. Mine are very territorial and won't stray past the driveway.
@RentTheSpokeMan Good point dude, its like saying he stole ideas for the movie maximum overdrive from an Ac/Dc song in the soundtrack called who made who, but they made that song for the movie, they did the entire soundtrack in fact, one of the reasons its a favorite movie of mine, stephen king being my favorite writer and Ac/dc being my favorite band
@Absonata Lol. Except that the book was published five years before the song which was published along with the film adaptation as its title song. Yep, what a horrible theft. :P
Was the Victor Pascow character from the movie actually in the novel as well? I never read the book but remember the ghost of that guy being really creepy!
You should really give the movie a shot if you haven't by now. It's actually very faithful to the book--the only major change is that they removed Nora and they also changed Missy's character. Only complaint is that Ellie is annoying, but the rest of the cast is great, IMO.
Mwahaha, I love Louis's actor. He's awesome. And I don't know why but the creepy tone in his voice could be ruining this with it's "obviousness" to the genre of the book but it's not... it's perfect... I must listen to this through 'cause I really think this isn't even nearly exactly like the book...

If you don't want your cat to get hit by a car you keep it inside. That's what I do. Cats live alot longer that way.

HE BORROWED THE TITLE FROM RAMONES.
Absonata 2 years ago
It was intentional. A couple Ramones tunes are in the soundtrack of the film. King wrote the screenplay.
Shadowdancer21b 2 years ago
The book and movie came first. The Ramones song was recorded for the movie.
Cyborcat 2 years ago
@Absonata thats really kinda stupid Absonata. Most times when there is a song of the same name as a movie the soing is written to accopany the film.

@Absonata the Ramones song was written for the film version of the book, they took the title from Stephen King, not the other way round
TheSoulMan8 1 year ago
@Absonata
Stephen King asked the Ramones to write the song specifically for the movie. Shows what you know.
