  • Don't you have to applie a texture of the sky? Or does it automatically put a texture on it?

  • @BUGHUNTER6 You have to apply it. Texture name is skybox.

  • i have a question.... I have seen some custom campaigns that have a day skybox.... i have tried to use some of the other skyboxes that i have for other games but they dont work... anybody have an idea on where to download a file for a day skybox texture?

  • I have something like that! when i go in game its all weird and its like the skybox isnt there and im looking into the black void ! help!

  • You have to be sure you have the proper name typed into the skybox map properites and that you are compiling with HDR turned on.

  • Thanks I got that. but now i cant see fire and smoke and for some reason some props are white and some at lighter then they should be....

  • you need to add a cubemap to the map for it to work, you choose the entity env_cubemap, then place it at head height.

  • I have been using and watching your tutorials and noticed that they barely have any views. Its unbelievable! I've worked in hammer a long time and all of your tutorials make what I used to do easier AND more effective. Things that took me a day take me an hour.
