its exciting. what is not exciting in my opinion is that any moron will be able to shoot with this professional piece of equipment. is like giving a gun to a kid, u have to know how to handle it. he he true there are pro cameras available already, but this guys (red) are in for the kill. just keep em coming!
Everyone can make feature films already, you don't need red for that. And just buying a red doesn't make you a good filmmaker, so just be happy there's RED for us.
I'm curious about the sensor size of 2/3"; I'd like to see if the DOF is still comparable to the full gate Red, or even a 35mm lens adapter. Regardless, it's priced comparably to 1/3" and you can still put 35mm lenses directly on it. So, awesome.
