MonxxSuun, I say Daryl Braithwaites' version of " IF YOU WALKED AWAY", and I found it completely FLAT AND without any EMOTION, plus there was very little intonation as well. His overall rendition....SUCKED. And I am pretty sure that David Pomeranz who wrote the song would most likely agree. Heck, I could do BETTER, and perhaps one day I will do just that and post it.
fave of all Cliff's albums was !I'm Nearly Famous"...every track a winner. You can't fault his vocal skills and this song shows off his voice so well.

Nice song, the arrangement/singing style reminds me a bit of the American soft rock band Bread. Whisper it quietly.....i bought a Cliff cd recently, ha ha (just having a laugh major Cliff fans). Yeah his '76 comeback album I'm Nearly Famous, gave it a listen on Spotify first and was pleasantly suprised. Not going to rush out and buy all his albums just yet though. He's still good live (going by the Shadows dvd from '09). Cheers for posting.

cliff richard has a nice voice but if viewers want a treat they should look at the version by the great Australian singer Daryl Braithwaite, (lead singer of Sherbet for those British viewers who remember Howzat.) Cliff's version is weak and insincere compared to Daryl's.
geez this is one of those songs that used to make my dates want to cuddle and hug on the dance floor. wish there were many more of these type tunes to inspire such romance. oh, well. cliff you always had so many of the best sounds on the radio back in those wonderful days. i hope you and yours keep loving and feeling good too.

Yet someone else wrote that they wanted to f*** her, and it got through. Someone else described some video as n****r-loving music, and that got accepted too.

U Tube never shows my opinion any more seems I speak too much sense , why do they allow the foul mouthed ones their say but dont let us oldies have a say at all.. this is the third time I have written about Dear Cliff and its been declined maybe I need to swear to have a say...how many more of us are having the same problem...May God forgive the censors and God bless Cliff

They were filming in color in the 70s, despite the Cold War :). I think it's BW because this was a small regional TV station in Leningrad with a low budget.
