  • 25% of all large marlin die of cardiac arrest while hooked. I hope this was not a kill tournament? Stocks are really declining due to mexican, norwegian, and japanese long lining all thru the pacific and sea of cortez. And yes, in the dreaded event that a marlin does expire, the meat is excellent smoked. I do think they were fudging on the 300 pound estimate. Looks like it may go 250.....Tight lines, The Hitman

  • Sorry this is the marlin not tuna jaja

  • hey Tushaani You have never ate sashimi before well that is how it is made!

  • Sorry but that tuna was NOT 300lbs. Maybe 200lbs max. I have caught many tuna at El Banco and that didnt look like a 300 lbr!!!!

  • That's really hurting and cruel. The fish was so exhausted and the terror look in it's terrified eyes, so sad. YOu ppl are so heartless.

  • there eyes always look like that they dont change

  • I know. Fishes eyes can relate to so many feelings, because they don't change. I loved fishing, until one day I found out fishes feel pain. But I do miss the waiting, the hooking, the reeling, the fighting...

  • if u kill and eat teh fish, i think its ok

  • lols im prewty sure as long as they eat it, its ok. atleast it aint like big game elephant hunting haha
