  • God...please... protect us..

  • @17iran Unfortunately I think were gonna have to protect ourselves, but, maybe you can keep asking anyways.

  • Comment removed

I do hope that nothing happens to us as well though.

  • Venus reminds me of Mordor.

  • noisecontrollers - faster n further sent me heree!!! WE HAVE TO JUMP!

  • I have never heard so much mind controlling BULL SHIT! in all my born days.

  • @phihaley eeeerrr wot????????????????

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but sun spots are actually hotter and much more brighter than the surrounding surface we just see those as black because of how light behaves. Put very bright light on the dim background and you'll see that the brighter light actually looks black. The same thing goes with sun.

  • @Arwiiss NO.12:20 Fractions cooler than "rest of the surface" on the sun,but ANYWAY-hotter than anything on earth.Even the Earths core i guess..understand ? :)

  • @Arwiiss Sun spots only apear black because they are just slightly dimmer than the rest of the surface (put a light bulb in front of a search light and the light bulb will appear black because of the contrast between the two lights, yet still very bright without the search light) and what makes it dimmer is that it's cooler, however it is still very, very bright.

  • noisecontrollers - faster n further

  • @HardstyleRhythm WE HAVE TO JUMP!

  • The size and properties of the Universe is way beyond our ability to comprehend. It's just like you explain Math to a dog and expect it to understand, but it'll never understand because it's beyond its ability to do so.

  • @polarspirit Not true

  • The universe is a never ending space with heavenly bodies within.

  • that thing abot mercury is a bit silly. of course it wold have to be mostly metal, case thats all that can take freezing and brning. its actually well-tempered,strong metal.stronger and denser than our iron.more of an alloy of metals.the rocky crust is all that protects this raw core from being exposed.mercury had to once have been much, mch, bigger at its early stages.to this day the solar wind and otrageous temps, with some volcanos, widdle away at that srface.it is what it shold be.

  • It's true, what Buzz Aldrin always says: the moon is made of cheese...

  • ShawnBlaque that is. So true

  • The first dude is spot on

    The video is class

  • man this is awesome!

  • WoW. Great work.

  • Anyone who watches this whole program and still believes in a god has to be pretty naive. So god spent 7 days creating the earth man in his image.. Then what? He got bored and decided to make billions of galaxies with trillions of stars and other planets? Oh but none of them have life, cause we're special.

It's actually complete nonsense to think such a thing.

  • @ShawnBlaque i watched it and thought how could you NOT believe in God

  • Hated the drama filled commentator, not at all necessary. Did not like it.

  • if you like this check out my channel for a journey to the edge of the cosmos

  • First off - Thanks for uploading! Excellent CG and cinematography!

Second - Was going to buy this, but was available only in US and Canada! Thank you, National Geographic, for your condescending, greedy marketing strategies!

Third - The narrator's insipid tone and delivery quickly begin to grate the nerves.

Fourth - The story supposition that mankind is some sort of nomad, gypsy, wandering cosmic immigrant, or fluke of consciousness in nature, insults the intelligence.

    But otherwise good stuff!

  • Noisecontrollers got me here =)

  • 0:48 hehehe Petter's chin lol

  • FUCKING HELL. 10,000 volcanoes per ray!! Bloody hell, well what do you expect? Its the sun!

  • Dude , isn't this stuff copyrighted or something .

  • @earthday1988 call the cops!

  • haha, 4 people would run home!!

  • Best doc ever :D!

  • More we know about the universe, more we DIDN'T KNOW about it. one question answered, thousand MORE question comes after that, because universe is infinite and still expanding.

  • Did he say blow j's?

  • amaazing

  • 00:33 Or we can turn our back on this b'tch! xD

  • Just saw BBC planets, too bad that one was made in 99. Hope this one is not bad either.

  • How do I get Permission off National Geographic to use this video in my song???? ... "THE PERFECT QUESTION." An Exploratory 12.46 Minute Musical & Lyrical Cosmic Journey through the beginnings of Space and Time into the complexities of far away Galaxies and the Unlimited Nebula and the Forever Expanding Universe of your own Spirit Mind! ... REVIEWS ... "The BEST MUSIC PIECE since Pink Floyd's DARK SIDE OF THE MOON ....FREE LISTEN AT "NAPSTER GARY SHAW" or DOWNLOAD at "ITUNES GARY SHAW."

  • Universe? Hmm. One seems kinda small. How about Multiple Universe or Multiverse.

  • To anyone who just clicked this video and is not sure if want to watch or not: I recommend you guys watch it! All of it, you will not regret. You will open your mind to the wonders of the universe and have an idea on how big it truly is. It's beyond our imagination! WATCH WATCH WATCH! :D

  • Baldwin's narration is much better, true Hollywood, while this is the rubbish British telly version.

  • @fuckfegelein tbh watching the baldwin's version makes me think im watching a trailer for a documentary...

  • this guys voice is hipnotic man!!:-))

  • Sean Pertwee is just fantastic as a Narrator! He has a really emphatic resonant voice. Just like his farther Jon who I remember as one of the best (If not thee best) Doctors of Dr WHO. I'm so happy that he is doing what he loves best.

  • narater is thu best.FANTASTIC!

  • sir, this is not 720p this is 360p

  • Does anyone know where the version that aired in canada might be? i still find that's the best narration. ( and it wasn't Baldwin).

  • @hyperactive27 christopher lambert sounds like his voice

  • Comment removed

  • at 11:48 turn on the subtitles XD

  • Ха-ха вы получили это от вас трубки!

  • this shyt is awsome yo jaja

  • For this documentary there should be a warning!

"Watching this can cause your mental state to collapse if you think to much about it, viewer discretion is advised!" :)

  • duuuuuuddeee is anyone else seeing all the faces?

  • oh wait, who the f is this? The Alex Baldwin narration is better than this guy

  • - I bought this bluray in some ways you won't get the full experience if you don't see it bluray on a plasma tv

    - Without exaggeration, THE BEST DOCUMENTARY I HAVE SEEN IN MY LIFE.

    - Alex Baldwin is THEE perfect fit for the narration I can think of NO ONE better

    - I viewed this documentary through a Christian prism. It is breathtaking how God has created such a Universe. There are many subtle things that I interpreted through a Christian and spiritual/supernatural lens

  • Bing Gordon was the 8th man on the moon

  • Ice in the comet??! Then that would mean of course, water, right? :) Where'd it came from? Does it have any life in it?

  • @animaticToshiue thats where they think the water on earth came from

  • Sean Pertwee's voice is similar to Peter Guiness in someway.

  • who is this guy, this isn't Alec Baldwin; he does this doc. the best.

  • Woah, i think now if i was given a choice to either go to hell or venus, i would pick hell haha! Looks like a damn nasty place! thanks 4 uploading this documentary, love stuff like this :)

  • Spectacular! :)

  • ...thxu for the HD video...i hate it when people upload crappy video!

  • Fantastic video so far. I especially liked the visuals of Venus.

I was originally trying to watch this on 'Top Documentary Films', but the resolution was horrid, so thank you for uploading the HD version.

  • @Rezxer Ive seen the 1080p version, but the narrator is Alec Baldwin.Between him and this with Sean Pertwee,I reccomenden this.

  • ...and star trex is still showing LOL
