@EverythingEvil007 Whenever I play just warming up and jamming, I'll often do the same thing in parts where the hi-hat pedal isn't used. It's a decent work out for the leg, and the better my left leg individually gets, the cleaner my double playing will sound. I'll always use my right leg more, so giving the left leg some work isn't a bad thing.

@sydharth yes it was in tempo, obviously the randomly (and awesome) placed accents threw you off from your normal patterns, which probably consist of 2 and 4 placed accents. his cymbals sound fine, and you contradict yourself by saying your fills are not even close to what the song is at all, when in reality you yourself define the meaning of a cover, making a song your own. and the whole point of posting yourself on youtube is to showoff, so no, its not stupid. and he has a name dumbass: Leo.

Acoustic, definitely. Theres really no reason any experienced drummer would recommend an electric. Both have their own respectable advantages, but acoustic is the way to go. You can produce alot more sounds, tones, and cymbal pitches.

Electric kits have come far in the last few years. I have an acoustic kit at home but I've had to purchase an electric for my uni accom. to help with noise etc. After playing it for the past week I think it's great. I disagree with the whole "no reason any experienced drummer would recommend an electric".

Yes of course, acoustic are always going to be better but e-drums are very good now :) Especially if you use MIDI and get some tasty VST.
