People keep judging them on looks, well Matt normally wears joggers and Alex dresses like a Teddy Boy. Nick dresses casual and Jamie is just Jamie. If you want to judge music on looks there is always pop for you. This is the best band to come from Britain since The Beatles and personally I'd go as far to say they are better than them.

"hipster look" what the fuck are you talking about? denim jacket and 50's style hair are obvious staples of hipsters circa 2008. and "passive songs" as opposed to what? active, political ones? suck it and see is an accessible, catchy, deep album- they were never trying to be the "next" anything, never mind fucking oasis. they fill their own shoes, and are pretty fucking successful world-wide,you strange, strange person.
