@steven6639 This is not an android tablet, it has same technology as high end netbooks and some subnotebooks. This means that extra work would need to be put in to make Android 2.2/2.3 work on this device, and will leave it rather pointless with most software plain not working, and some being slow... and second, there is no way to make Android 3.x work on this.

good device, but it's fingerprint magnet and has no ethernet port as a backup option in case the wireless malfunctions. e ink anti reflective screen would also be nice, in addition to a kickstand on back. does it have blue tooth, u know, in case we want to attach an external camera or keyboard?

I would guess that seeing as it comes pre-installed with Windows 7 it would come with Microsoft Works. Word has to be bought as a stand alone package or with Microsoft office as is standard with my hardware now. Hope that helps.

My only real complaints (all minor) are - the edges of the screen ripple when pressed (about 3/4" in on the left and right sides), the leather case strap is too short and doesn't fit, the thumb mouse button has to be pushed hard to register and a fingerprint reader would have been very useful on a device that has no physical keyboard.

Over all it's fantastic and I think I may just sell my iPad.

The Hanvon even plays older 3d games like GTA Vice City very smoothly at native resolution. I was even able to upgrade the hard drive to 640GB and the RAM to 4GB (3GB usable in 32bit Win7). The fan runs all the time but it is pretty quiet overall.

I ended up finding the English drivers and installed English Win 7 Premium 32bit (Chinese product key worked on English Win 7 - happy surprise). Now I LOVE it. It plays Blu-Ray (USB Blu-Ray drive or ripped ISOs) perfectly - not a single stutter. It scrolls in IE8 and Firefox very smoothly with a finger - smoother than the i5 HP TM2t Multitouch tablet PC I've been evaluating (the HP is likely going to go back to HP).

Guys, this can't even be compared to the iPad. iPad cuold be compared to any touch mp3 player with internet but not with a tablet PC. Seriously, the iPad is nothing but a bigger screen iPod not more... This is a real tablet pc with a processor and windows inside so yeah Apple should have done this to the iPad but they didn't so this device takes a huge lead!

@m00gles How is this "not" better than the ipad ? No flash website games on a touch screen device, only itunes bought apps allowed. On this you can run any Windows app you want. It even has usb...so printing is easier on it...320gb hdd, Webcam, HDMI. The only caveat is battery life is better on ipad, but who uses a computer that long anyway...this device allows choice...it's the only computer you would need. But with an ipad you need a computer to use it...

It looks really nice, but what's the point of a tablet without a stylus? I've got a tablet PC (HP TX2) and my primary use of it is for taking handwritten notes in OneNote. Without a stylus it's just a souped up e-reader, internet slate and media player. With a stylus and a program like OneNote it is an awesome device for students and anyone else who wants to take notes without paper.
