Why do people think the water temple was hard? It was sorta long, but not hard.

@Warblade118 it was hard because there was "game designg flaw" meaning, you couldn't proceed with game if you did something in wrong order and means you have to start whole game all over (if you didin't have any previous saves)

@Warblade118 Might've been because if you open the wrong locked doors and run outta keys, you're stuck unless you reset. :O - luckily that's never happened to me. lolol

@H3llian667 Weird. I've played through the game a hundred times and never had a problem with the water temple. Sometimes I'd get hung up on one missing key before the big chamber with dark link, but I'd always eventually find it and move on. I'm really surprised to hear some people had trouble with a missing key.

@H3llian667 they are remaking zelda OoT into an updated version maybe with better graphics and fixed problems but they are gonna screw it up probably make it less fun, thats what happens with most remade games but i hope they do fix the water temple a little still make it a challenge for the people who never played the game, want it to have the same feel the epicness!

@borgvarg to be honest, all I want in the remake is a Master Quest mode....The only way to Quest is questing like a Master!...still...for MQ mode, make the bosses Harder through environmental obstructions, better AI, and better attack/defense (Hits harder, takes more hits)

one thing I hope they DON'T do is use that mic for the Ocarina...

And for those complaining about the water temple: NO! It needs to be mazelike forever....

@BlitzkriegOmega :D Nintendo's actually gone on record to say that the OoT 3DS remake will have Master Quest, as well as the normal game! Which is cool for me since I've played Ocarina to death but never played Master Quest!

a official source says that the game will be mirrored, there will be tougher bosses and ordinary enemies will be stronger and more common in master quest mode. i guess you have to finish the ordinary mode first to unlock master, but its not the same as on gamecube. nothing is ported

its fucking twilight princess thats not challenging it coulda been very hard and amazing but one simple feature ruined it all.......automatic shield.

id actually buy the game again if it simply removed that feature.

reminds me mainly of morpheel - and phantom ganondorf, they were the ones i had most problems with initially. Morpheel was nasty for some reason back in teh day - now it seems well straightforward :). I know all the bosses are easy. Im just saying if u were to compare those 2 that phantom Ganon is bit more challenging. All i use against both is the master sword. Because its easier to hit the attack back. Ive beaten master quest. And the only way i know to beat Ganondorf faster than 22sec is by hitting him in the split second b4 he recovers. Not sure about Phantom.

I disagree. When Phantom Ganon jumps out of the paintings, you can just go very close to a wall and never get hurt, and in his second stage, you can actually Z-target him when you deflect his shots. The actual fight-- you couldn't use Z-targeting on him, so deflecting those shots can be more of a challenge, plus, when you succeed in that thing, you have to be totally precise within a fraction of a second and shoot a light arrow at him. The Dark Beast Ganon was easy, though.

The first time i did this boss, i wasted like 25 of my arrows on shooting the paintings, cause i didn't know how to get him out, then i decided to go get more arrows, and that fence pulled up! and im like " Nuh UH! I just wasted all of my arrows!" I died, *major sacarsm is being reported in this next comment* luckily, i had all four of my bottles filled with fairies!! Grrrr
