Good point that the concern should be with what the Administration used the borrowed money from the sale of the Treasury Bills to the foreigners. If used to prop up mortgage payers who are just not trying to pay their bills, while honest payers are not helped. There is a moral issue problem.
Why not have a fund to buy up all properties with mortgage arrears and the Bankers, payers are bailed out directly. Then sell lottery tickets with the properties as prizes. Just thinking out of the box eh?

I prefer Peter to be pushy, smarmy, curt, & aggressive. I love Faber & Rogers for the reasons you do.... But I love when Peters harassing analogies. I enjoy his quick, smart-alec jabs on TV. Deep down he is saying what many people WISH they had the voice to say, and it is inspiring to have an economic commentator who DOESN'T apologize for the FREE MARKET and SELF INTEREST. If he was like Rogers & others.... what fun would that be? We already have those classy guys. I like the BEHEMOTH ego!
Don't think Schiff knows much about the Canadian market, that's why he didn't address that guys question directly. Our gov't is making most of the same mistakes, some moreso. Very concerned about the CDN dollar. Would be good to have some informed direction re: the CDN economy.
The green party leader wanted the CDN at 80 cent USD. Looks like that is where the CDN went, hopefully that was just from the USD raly. Hopefully when the USD does crash, the politicians will not be stupid enough to keep it at 80 cents USD. The head of the Candaian central bank is a GoldmanSachs and harvard grd, like all the other idiots.
