pretty simple setup. Line6 Toneport with Ableton Live software. Then i edit the video with Windows Movie Maker.

I recorded the song first without videoing it. Then I recorded 3 videos, each video was me playing the whole song on each guitar. Then I cut them up and stuck them all together over the song i had already recorded.

yes i know. The videos are intended to show how to play it/ me PLAYING it. The recording is done beforehand and I overlay the video/recording. therefore i sometimes just record the videos with the guitars unplugged.

It's really simple but takes a while. Film each instrument seperately, and then just sequence them over the track recording. I do it on windows movie Maker :D

Plug the TonePort into PC via USB. Then guitar straight into the TonePort, no amp.

The Line6 TonePort is really good. Has great software, loads of guitar sounds which are all editible.

I recorded this through a Line6 TonePort so therefore didn't use any effect pedals. I might have used some effects plug-ins, but I cant remember using any.

You could try using some type of Flanger, put I just used a bit more overdrive than the usual guitar tone in the tune.
