Someone in Dr. King's circle said that he remembered that Dr. King might have said something like that... in short, it's another Zionist lie. Lewis provided verbatim quotes from King in a column in the SF Chron in 2002 (search for "Martin Luther King John Lewis Israel" in Google and you'll find it--can't post a link here).
If King was an "outspoken advocate for the Palestinians" then please provide verifiable quotes from him. Just one? Most likely won't find any, since the "Palestinian cause" during King's lifetime was for the elimination of Israel. Not so different today...
