My american dj agressor went out the other day. I checked the fuse and replace the bulbs and it does not come on at all. Is it anything you can recommend me doing to fix it. PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP
no. its totally old school, with regular cable and all that ancient technology! LOL
Speaking of this light. Bulbs blew on it recently, so I went to Guitar Center and got 2 lights, 300w each, but I think they are TOO powerful for it, because when I turn it on, it smell like turning on an oven. I could probably easily bake a muffin in it!
aw damn! I just bought the Dynamic Pak wich includes the Double Twist and I bought (2) 25ft cables. Does the the trilogy at least have a removable power cord so i dont end up wasting money?
It really depends on your budget and the size of the rooms you gig in. I think some of these new TRI-LED lights are very eye catching and brighter than the LED's I have. I'd stay away from the incandescent lights. They're heavy, bulbs burn out, and they use a lot of power.
I usually run the aggressor and doubletwist on 1 circuit, along with the LED lights I have. I run all my sound off a second circuit if I can. Both lights are 600 watts each, from what I can tell, so that's 1200 watts. That leaves me about 800 to work with before it gets dangerous! ;)
thats smart!! I did my parents wedding and we have a big backyard so i setup there. I just had a really long extention cord and pluged it in to the living room and all night we kept blowing the power.

What I plan on doing is this: Use the scanners and vue I's i have coming as one set of lights, use the colorsplashes I have coming as another "SET", and use the aggressors as a centerpeice. When the aggressors are on, they will be the only lights on. I may also turn the VUE III around and shine it behind my booth! I shoot video when I do.
No, the one on the right is the Aggressor. The one on the left is a Double Twist, which comes as part of an ADJ party pack. The Aggressor has 2 300watt lights, and the Double Twist only has one. Also, I think the mic on the Aggressor is a bit more sensitive.
nice lights. just to correct you, the electra is made by american dj. i am looking at getting me a couple of those too. if you get those soon, i would really like to see them up in detail. good job
Thanks. I kinda get brain farts when in front of that darn camera! LOL. To be honest, the Agressor and Doubletwist weren't bought for mobile DJing. Originally, I just wanted some lights to light up the gym where I volunteer DJ'd during roller skating. So I bought that ADJ Party Pack, then later the Agressor becuase I needed MORE light. Bought the VUE III with the intent for mobile work.
Plan on getting the 2 Electra's and 2 VUE I's. Maybe a 2nd VUE III to show each VUE on opposite walls
i just bought 2 agressor lights for 150 bucks . heavy at 24 pounds each, and large but it does have lots of lights power

whats that lcd light called?

The LED light looks like the Vue III (judging by the close crowding of the dots)
DjKiba 3 years ago
Yup, its a VUE III. I'll eventually get a DMX controller cuz I'm bored of the patterns.

the sound in the background is the fan of lights? they are pretty loud lol
Carloz800 3 years ago
Yes, the aggressor has a loud fan. But its not that bad. When you're cranking music at 300+ watts, you can't hear the fan at all.

can you make a review video of the aggressor and show what it looks like inside
