I consider this the best score ever written for an action film. Goldsmith should have won the Oscar for Patton and a half-dozen other films. He was an absolute genius.

Yeah, I have the extended soundtrack edition (red cover). And nice movie, but it`s sadly that the uncut-version is no longer available in Germany.... :)
