sucks illidan went downhill like majorly after the fight with arthas, he was more than likely both scared to death of kil'jaedan and just felt plain humiliated after that battle. he could of still been a good guy, but looks like it just wasn't meant to be
@komotoko You are wrong. The Orcs were "The Horde" because of Kil' Jaeden The Deceiver if I am not mistaken. His name "the Deceiver" comes right from there because he has deceived Ner'zul and then Gul'dan by offering them power if they destroy the Draenei. They started killing small parties of the Draenei but later on they united and started to attack cities. As they united they called themselves the Horde. It is all explained in on of the books of WarCraft. The book is called Rise of the Horde.
This was why Illidan was named The Betrayer. Remember? That .. uh .. Lvandix, forgot his name, that red druid of the grove, said. "You will doom us all, by freeing The Betrayer!" he was named The Betrayer far, far before he killed Tichondrius.

@Zamoonda90 in theorie, the world would have not survived without another well of eternity, since the well of eternity was designed by the titans too make sure the world would have life on it, without it all life would simply dissapear. It is why the druids and the shamans and the green dragonflight fight so desperite too defend it at all cost.
@ail898 Actually, that is not the case. The Well of Eternity was designed by the Titans for unknown reasons, if made by them at all. (See the retconn of the RPG Books.) The Night Elves and Dragons and the such went to protect the New Well to stop Archimonde from draining it's majestic powers; if he had drained them, Archimonde would have become more than a mere demigod, but perhaps even a God, like his master. If he had done that, all of Azeroth would have been lost. It's why he went there.
It's not that Illidan was a betrayer, he was actually helping aginst the Burning Legion in W3 and he sacrificed his soul to save them. But then Malfurion banished him, and everyone called Illidan the betrayer when it was he who was betrayed
@XandWacky You forget that all of this was done merely to steal Tyrande from Malfurion. During the War of the Ancients, sure, he defeated the Burning Legion, but he has destroyed 80% of Kalimdor's landmass with it, just trying to prove Tyrande how more powerful he is than his twin brother. After that, when Illidan's power hunger grew even further, he took several vials from the Well of Eternity, and poured them into a lake ontop of Mt. Hyjal. Killing several officers trying to defend it, Illidan
@Loredalf Orcs were not apart of the Horde at this point I'm sure of it. They were Mindlessly controlled pretty much. I am Alliance and I think Alliance will win the final war simply becausse the horde will fall apart in numbers they can't get along. :D But yeah These Orcs were not Horde at the time. Because the dark portal wasn't opened right yet so no way there were there.
@Loredalf that is a lost one, a draenei mutated because of the fel energie unleashed in draenor(outland) simply as humans would mutated if he get exposed too much high radiance.

@nicolaahel The Burning Crusade (The expansion when Outland was introduced) was the best expansion PERIOD. WotLK and Cata are nothing compared to it.
