Wii Disc Read Eerror

I used to have the same poblem with SSBB and now my wii doesn't read any game :S

wuts ups with nintendo's systems that play discs because first this happened with my Gamecube and now my freakin wii WTF!! All my other non-disc nintendo systems work like my ds,nintendo 64,my gameboy and they are all older then my wii!!

I got the "the game disc could not be read", in Super smash Brawl and Mario Galaxy games, i need help!!! but the thing is... my Wii only have two weeks new!!! WTF!! help please!!

@goldensun003 There have been issues reported with certain discs. Does it play other games? If so, it might just be having an issue with reading dual-layer discs which is something Nintendo was fixing for free at one point. You might check to see if that's something they're still doing.

The same thing happens to me when i put Skyward Sword in!! I just got a couple of days ago and when ever i put it in, it loads and then a black screen pops up!!

@Arizona2kewl I got the same with Skyward Sword :O sometimes he can read the disc but most time he says he can't read it or he says that an error occured blablabla.. :( And my wii makes a weird noise: "tick tick ticktick tick, etc" and when the game is loading it takes like 30 seconds :S while 5 seconds or so is normal..

Does someone know how to fix this???

@markvelo100 No part 2. I just wanted to show that my Wii was messing up and see if anyone knew of any easy fixes.  I ended up having to send it into Nintendo for a fix.

your problems are easy buy the wiilens cleaner kit and clean the wii lens and recommend hack your wii and install wiiflow or usb loader to load games by a external HDD and then your problems over :D (Y)

i think your wii laser is damaged the same thing happen to me it wont read any of my discs but what i do is send it to fix and they change the laser and it works again.But the same error return well not the same error now my wii doesnt read ssbb and samurai warriors 3 but the other discs works fine.And i clean my wii with the wii cleaner , at first it works but now doesnt work.I NEED HELP.

Ok what happened is the laser in your wii broke... not completly but enough where it will stop reading the game if the game size is too big. what you will need to do it you have enough money and don't care you can send it into Nintendo wor $80 (Not including S & H) and have them fix it... OR.. you can fix it yourself for around $15 :D.. Contact me for Details on here...

@drpepar Same to mine and when your done playing black ops if you leave the wii running with the game disc in it is where you went wrong... when you are done playing any game shut the wii OFF

The sad thing is that the Wii can't distinguish betweeen software error and hardware error. It just says, "An error has occured," Would have been nice if the Wii was intelligent enough to tell you what specific error has happened.
