Continuous improvement is flawless in principle, but my place of work is ran by selfish individuals who bash square pegs into round holes, and provide no incentive to work there. The system relies upon people who are happy in their job and don't ask questions. The real workers do their best to push things forward, but they know that they are being exploited for ideas. In efect - we are doing the bosses job for them, and a shop floor worker receives no extra money for that.
