TOTALLY agree with you. Campers are very annoying and make the game less enjoyable. BUT I do think at one point we all went through a stage of camping, I did. Now I run and gun and I'm pretty good, but I honestly think camping is part of the learning curve noobs go through in the search for the mystical 3+ k/d we all strive for. I think the game developers need to take some heat, not JUST the players who "break" the game. IW has to ensure that certain elements of the game can't be taken advantage of by lesser skilled players. Noobtubes in MW2 = Infinity ward's fault. can't blame poor players for using efficient guns, especially in a game which can be so frustrating to a new player.
Good video, thanks for your perspective, some things i dislike about it is.. for instance in your video.. the knife that went through you at 0:50 and your striker shotgun kill at 2:30. I really dislike the range that is on the striker, compared to others such as the spas. Striker is a semi-auto shotgun, spas is pump-action and yet the striker seems to have the same power and range to the spas.
i dont really care about this, but my friend had a ps3 and mw2 for a while saying it was better than xbox because of blah blah but it didnt have blah blah he decided to get an xbox because me and alot of his friends had one, know he's saying its better because of things like party chat and he said ps3 had more of hackers.
Black Ops was extremely frustrating. I absolutely love MW3. I feel like it is one of the best CoD's they have released. Of course it needs some patches, but the game as only been out a little over a month. They need time to work on those patches so the patches they do release are not broken.
hey trent, but i use assassin and blind eye because im more of a stealthier player than others, not because im bad at the game. im not saying im good but im saying that many use the perks and guns for a legitimate reason, for a comfortable gameplay, and to obviously be helpful to your teammates.

If it would be like CounterStrike, where NO k/d ratio is saved, no saving accuracy, no kills per minute no having to "unlock" guns etcetera, then people would have more fun! A game like this shouldn't be ranked. Battlefield for example, is a "pro's" game, if you know what I mean, I don't mind that being ranked. But a game like Call of Duty? I kind of think it's a bit sad :(
It can be both a broken game and broken because people abuse it. Certainly, this game isn't "broken", however a few tweaks definitely need to be implemented. Some of those tweaks are due to the game needing improvement, but some of those are for players taking advantage of the system. Good video Trent.
I think the game is not broken at all. Black ops was way different larger scale maps slower paced games. Mw3 smaller maps faster paced games. I didn't enjoy black ops like I do mw3.

I think they should've incorporated the money system from black ops into MW3. I'd prefer to buy my stuff such as attachments and all that jazz rather than unlocking stuff that I didn't want in the first place.And making your own emblem was fun. =(

There is such a thing as too fast in my mind and it's why I hate MW3/MW2. There are other reasons I hate that game such as the serious discrepancy between a 4 bar connection and a 3 bar, but even if that gets fixed I still wouldn't like how fast you die. There is a balance that needs to be struck and I think Black Ops has it right. I think Infinity Ward's version of COD is going in the wrong direction and peaked with the original MW.
I agree, you shouldn't play because you wanna be Top on the Leaderboards, you should play for fun. I think you can compare xbox and ps3, because they're the main competitors in the market, and they're trying to do the same thing, just better than the other. Sure there's the wii, but that's a completely different console, unless your comparing the PS move and Kinect with the wii, of which as you need no controller, kinect is blatantly superior, I'm saying this from a person who plays PS3.
@TheMWaWesome I play PS3/PC, and would actually say PS Move is better than Kinect, mainly because the fact that the Kinect is not that accurate with certain games hence why there is going to be the Kinect 2.

Games are a medium to tell a story, it's also a commerical art. If future games are going to be made to a better standard, then games with good story telling and interesting, experimental gameplay will need to sell ALOT better and games which don't do this, COD and equilevant, need to stop selling so good.
I also think it's the goal of the developers to direct people how to play.
If people are camping and generally not moving as much as they should, then the game needs to penalize it more and make rushing and fast moving gameplay more rewarding for the player.
I don't agree with you, I think COD is really negative thing for the gaming industry as a whole. The recyled combat systems, messy story and to much emphasis on multiplayer makes some really terrible games. I'm still amazed that people buy into this and more support for COD, and games like COD only means that more and more games will be made to this terrible standard.
I disagree, the game is broken. The spawns are just god damn awful and the lag and hit detection are crap. These are technical issues so the game is broken, literally. The people playing with final stand and type 95 don't help but the spawns and lag is what ruins this game.
Black cat I completely agree. I don't have many friends to play online games with and I find myself using assassin and blind eye a lot, however I don't think that makes me a bad player because my KD is 1.76 so that's my opinion
Sometimes the spawn system is a bit fucked up. I got killed by someone and I spawned right behind him so that's kinda weird but I still think it's a good game.
I think it's really stupid to say that you can't compare two games or systems.. You definitely can. You can for example pick one that you like more, in my opinion: Black Ops. So please don't tell people to not compare things, the community would be so boring if no one compared for example games.
Hey Trent, I completely agree with you about most of the stuff you said about how the people ruin the game. The only thing I disagree with is the bit with Assassin. Now I don't always use Assassin, I mostly use Quickdraw. But IMO there is nothing wrong with not wanting to be detected by UAV's and stuff like that. There is massive UAV spam in this game, not to mention Advanced UAV's and EMP's which happen everygame. The only time that gets bad or nooby is when people camp in the corners with it.
Black Ops is a faster game for me because I'm able to be more aggressive and rush like a MF. MW3 is faster in the sense that it takes less bullets to kill, but if this forces me to play more tactically, then that makes Blops faster.
I'm still having fun with MW3, but the broken mic chat is absolutely KILLING me!!
This game is unplayable from a PC rusher, well on certain maps anyways. The map you played is stylized as a possible rushing map, aka its not a grid its more of a circle with less corridors to camp in. For example, 1/3d of the maps in this game are in what FPS developers call a "perfect circle" which opens the map up to run and gun. The other 2/3rd is mostly a "grid" which allows for more camping and less run and gun. The games not broken, just the map design overall isnt good. I <3 Dome tho!
I think the game is broken, the spawns r fucked. i don't care about dying from Type95, its a good gun and y limit urself by not using it. I haven't seen any gold Type95 yet, this means that not many people use it. yes the guns r way better and more balanced but black ops also had things going for it. i think mw3 needs more cars or places to hide, as the first person who gets shorts off will win the gun fight. You can't compare Modern Warfare 3 to Black Ops, they are totally different games, but when you play a sequel to a game, you expect some kind of level, some kind of gaming experience, a better game. In my opinion, i regret the 85 bucks (I'm not living in the United States) I spend on this game. I think no patch will be able to fix this game, because the game itself is just a big mistake. When MW2 came out, you spent HOURS playing, having fun. Did that happened when you played MW3? Think about it
I PARTIALLY agree. Blame the developers, specially the new IW (it's a whole new team, they fired the guys who made MW2). And well, I know they didn't have as much time to develop the game, that's why you see a lot of stuff from MW2 like cars and stuff like that. But they should have waited to make a better game. The guns, they look like COD 4, worse than MW2 guns. And the maps, if you analyze them, they only have 1 level. They are plain, horrible, and ruin the game experience.

Mw3 is far from broken, but some of the spawns are really bad. It spawns you so close to the enemy that it's hard to get a killstreak, and easier to get deathstreaks. Plus, when playing by myself I always get on the worst teams and lose terribly.
Hey! I am a casual gamer too and i really hate the spawn system in this game... Yes people ruin the game but many factors influence how people plays For example, the killstreak kills very quickly thats why people use the assasin and blind eye and like the type 95 is OP that's why people use it, if it sucked, why would people use it? Like when im getting killed so quickly by the type 95, i want to kill people as fast so i use it, its the same for the FNG9 akimbos. I hope they fix the spawn system
I respect your opinion but imo the game is broken, most of the shotguns are underpowered, the handguns are underpowered, all akimbo machine pistols are overpowered, the type95 and acr are overpowered, they need to take stealth bomber out of support tier. hopefully they will fix these problems.
Trent, with what you said, and tons others do, about assassin, its not the fact that people use it because theyre bad, but people use it the wrong way, I'm an above average player and I use assassin(Never use Blind Eye) a lot with silencer so I'm not detected when I'm rushing around, but most players will use it to camp with no one knowing which gives it a bad rep ):

The maps are still awful, there is still a cluster fuck of kill streaks constantly buzzing through the air, shotguns are still absolute shit, the pp90 is still overpowered as fuck, the hit-detection sucks, the whole strike package mechanic is completely flawed, at least four stealth bombers occur on every game, smgs can kill from any distance, its still laggy as fuck. Infinity Ward/SledgeHammer have really fucked this up they spent more money on promotion (noob vs vet) than the game itself.

I don't understand the "can't compare the two games" you would compare the two games to see their similarities and then deem which one is better, like comparing a xbox 360 to a ps3 you would be looking to which qualities stand out and make it better for you. They aren't totally different games that they have nothing in common, they are both still cod games. You could easily compare them.

The game is not meant to camp in every corner. The gamers decide to camp or to campxD there is a difference... if i know there is a guy behind me i wont move till he is in front of mine. But waiting in a corner because you know in some time there are some guys passing me. that is camping. Generally i would say that the main thing is to havefun in this game.but if you camp, maybe you have fun but the ather players not and that is not ok

I love this game! But I'm only against the lag. Cuz, I have all Modern Warfares. And MW3 is the only game that makes me lag soooooo much. I get live 50 kills and 21 deaths in CoD4 and 36 kills and 11 deaths on MW2. Yes, I am not the best player in the area but I know that is something wrong with the connection of MW3. 9 kills and 17 deaths, my last game there |:
I think that the people who use the type 95 or the pp90 rapid fire with the akimbo fmg9s do in a way ruin the game, but if the developers refuse to patch it, they're putting the op gun in the noob's hands. Also, not sure if this is a big console issue, but people have been hacking on pc since day 1 (not just the stealth bomber bullshit or other glitch exploitations, but wh and aimbots). Some stuff needs to get fixed; it's not all the noobs' fault.

Games are a medium to tell a story, it's also a commerical art. If future games are going to be made to a better standard, then games with good story telling and interesting, experimental gameplay will need to sell ALOT better and games which don't do this, COD and equilevant, need to stop selling so good.

I also think it's the goal of the developers to direct people how to play.
If people are camping and generally not moving as much as they should, then the game needs to penalize it more and make rushing and fast moving gameplay more rewarding for the player.

I don't agree with you, I think COD is really negative thing for the gaming industry as a whole. The recyled combat systems, messy story and to much emphasis on multiplayer makes some really terrible games. I'm still amazed that people buy into this and more support for COD, and games like COD only means that more and more games will be made to this terrible standard.

I disagree, the game is broken. The spawns are just god damn awful and the lag and hit detection are crap. These are technical issues so the game is broken, literally. The people playing with final stand and type 95 don't help but the spawns and lag is what ruins this game.

Black cat I completely agree. I don't have many friends to play online games with and I find myself using assassin and blind eye a lot, however I don't think that makes me a bad player because my KD is 1.76 so that's my opinion

Hey Trent, I completely agree with you about most of the stuff you said about how the people ruin the game. The only thing I disagree with is the bit with Assassin. Now I don't always use Assassin, I mostly use Quickdraw. But IMO there is nothing wrong with not wanting to be detected by UAV's and stuff like that. There is massive UAV spam in this game, not to mention Advanced UAV's and EMP's which happen everygame. The only time that gets bad or nooby is when people camp in the corners with it.

Black Ops is a faster game for me because I'm able to be more aggressive and rush like a MF. MW3 is faster in the sense that it takes less bullets to kill, but if this forces me to play more tactically, then that makes Blops faster.
I'm still having fun with MW3, but the broken mic chat is absolutely KILLING me!!

This game is unplayable from a PC rusher, well on certain maps anyways. The map you played is stylized as a possible rushing map, aka its not a grid its more of a circle with less corridors to camp in. For example, 1/3d of the maps in this game are in what FPS developers call a "perfect circle" which opens the map up to run and gun. The other 2/3rd is mostly a "grid" which allows for more camping and less run and gun. The games not broken, just the map design overall isnt good. I <3 Dome tho!

I think the game is broken, the spawns r fucked. i don't care about dying from Type95, its a good gun and y limit urself by not using it. I haven't seen any gold Type95 yet, this means that not many people use it. yes the guns r way better and more balanced but black ops also had things going for it. i think mw3 needs more cars or places to hide, as the first person who gets shorts off will win the gun fight. Yes in people camp there then they r breaking the game

Ifeel like comparing two things such as xbox and ps3 can be done but when you compare you have to take personal opinion into effect. thats the mistake many people have but you dont. comparing mw3 to black ops is comparable in many different ways but you cannot in total compare the games, you can compare the air support,guns,maps, etc but everything put together can not be compared, so yeah i would agree with you. when people compare games they do not compare the games they compare the experience

You can't compare Modern Warfare 3 to Black Ops, they are totally different games, but when you play a sequel to a game, you expect some kind of level, some kind of gaming experience, a better game. In my opinion, i regret the 85 bucks (I'm not living in the United States) I spend on this game. I think no patch will be able to fix this game, because the game itself is just a big mistake. When MW2 came out, you spent HOURS playing, having fun. Did that happened when you played MW3? Think about it

I PARTIALLY agree. Blame the developers, specially the new IW (it's a whole new team, they fired the guys who made MW2). And well, I know they didn't have as much time to develop the game, that's why you see a lot of stuff from MW2 like cars and stuff like that. But they should have waited to make a better game. The guns, they look like COD 4, worse than MW2 guns. And the maps, if you analyze them, they only have 1 level. They are plain, horrible, and ruin the game experience.

Mw3 is far from broken, but some of the spawns are really bad. It spawns you so close to the enemy that it's hard to get a killstreak, and easier to get deathstreaks. Plus, when playing by myself I always get on the worst teams and lose terribly.

Hey! I am a casual gamer too and i really hate the spawn system in this game... Yes people ruin the game but many factors influence how people plays For example, the killstreak kills very quickly thats why people use the assasin and blind eye and like the type 95 is OP that's why people use it, if it sucked, why would people use it? Like when im getting killed so quickly by the type 95, i want to kill people as fast so i use it, its the same for the FNG9 akimbos. I hope they fix the spawn system

I respect your opinion but imo the game is broken, most of the shotguns are underpowered, the handguns are underpowered, all akimbo machine pistols are overpowered, the type95 and acr are overpowered, they need to take stealth bomber out of support tier. hopefully they will fix these problems.

Trent, with what you said, and tons others do, about assassin, its not the fact that people use it because theyre bad, but people use it the wrong way, I'm an above average player and I use assassin(Never use Blind Eye) a lot with silencer so I'm not detected when I'm rushing around, but most players will use it to camp with no one knowing which gives it a bad rep ):

The maps are still awful, there is still a cluster fuck of kill streaks constantly buzzing through the air, shotguns are still absolute shit, the pp90 is still overpowered as fuck, the hit-detection sucks, the whole strike package mechanic is completely flawed, at least four stealth bombers occur on every game, smgs can kill from any distance, its still laggy as fuck. Infinity Ward/SledgeHammer have really fucked this up they spent more money on promotion (noob vs vet) than the game itself.

I don't understand the "can't compare the two games" you would compare the two games to see their similarities and then deem which one is better, like comparing a xbox 360 to a ps3 you would be looking to which qualities stand out and make it better for you. They aren't totally different games that they have nothing in common, they are both still cod games. You could easily compare them.

The game is not meant to camp in every corner. The gamers decide to camp or to campxD there is a difference... if i know there is a guy behind me i wont move till he is in front of mine. But waiting in a corner because you know in some time there are some guys passing me. that is camping. Generally i would say that the main thing is to havefun in this game.but if you camp, maybe you have fun but the ather players not and that is not ok

I love this game! But I'm only against the lag. Cuz, I have all Modern Warfares. And MW3 is the only game that makes me lag soooooo much. I get live 50 kills and 21 deaths in CoD4 and 36 kills and 11 deaths on MW2. Yes, I am not the best player in the area but I know that is something wrong with the connection of MW3. 9 kills and 17 deaths, my last game there |:

I think that the people who use the type 95 or the pp90 rapid fire with the akimbo fmg9s do in a way ruin the game, but if the developers refuse to patch it, they're putting the op gun in the noob's hands. Also, not sure if this is a big console issue, but people have been hacking on pc since day 1 (not just the stealth bomber bullshit or other glitch exploitations, but wh and aimbots). Some stuff needs to get fixed; it's not all the noobs' fault.
