I am lucky that the cost of electric in this area

is crazy cheap... but I still enjoy just working

with natural light. You get into a very different

sleeping pattern. I read some studies years ago that

they did in Bethesda MD that prompted me to try myself.

Yes that would depend on your energy needs. The biggest load would be a refrigerator, if you use one. If you manage to really conserve, a small solar system may make sense. This of course could also supplement your exixting load...regards...
