I have been searching for a company that supplies white phosphorus online and all that I could find were a few crappy websites and I am interested to know who you bought it from. Please do not be fooled by my account, I share it with my son (the account) and I am very aware of the risks of using white phosphorus.
I'm sorry, but this video is horrible. I'm trying to watch the phosphorus and I have to keep pausing to read the text. It would have been nice if that could have come before or after. And, really, the video doesn't lack for intrigue without resorting to calling phosphorus evil or diabolical.
All known life requires phosphorus (P) in the form of inorganic phosphate (PO43‑ or Pi) and phosphate-containing organic molecules. Pi serves as the backbone of the nucleic acids that constitute genetic material and as the major repository of chemical energy for metabolism in polyphosphate bonds.
they insert air into a large amount of phosphorus and as soon as it hits the target it ignites sending flames and posoin every were, nasty shit there, used in Afganistan on Taliban camps
this one pretty cool /watch?v=LNqqBr2T2DA&list=UUniPWfjCH2whmODvQQaVG8g&index=6&feature=plcp

why does it ignite when touched with the glass rod? i thought it would ignite when it would just be exposed to air instead of smoking.

How can such a small sample of the stuff provide such a long-lasting flame?
omegakyogre 3 years ago
It burns quickly. A candle that size would burn for an hour.
