  • Yep those Yblocks have manual lifters, you can hear it.

  • did any body notice the exaust crossover pipe like the one on my 57 272?

  • That truck has potential to be a show truck, dont give up on it.Its hard to believe ford made a box that doesnt even match up with the cab,i know its original but just seems weird thats all.

  • nice truck, what is the engine/tranny? My guess for the tranny is a 4 speed

  • thats a Y block for sure ,,,, my guess it is a 292, but it could be a 352

  • @cclapew It is a 256 cube y-block from a 55. And the 352 is a FE block that wasn't available in the 4x4 in 1964.

  • ive always loved the mid 60's ford 4wheel drives. is that a 63 grille? i never cared for the old style bed with the new cab. why did ford do that?

  • @bluugrass The wheel base of the 4-wheel drive was longer than the short bed and shorter than the longbed. 1957-1964 4x4's basicly had the same chassis and that is why they used the 1957-1960 bed on the 1961-1964(some 65's).Most 1965-1966 4x4's were front coil spring and not leaf springs. And it does have a 63 grille.

  • I need to fix the rust first and then SCP will be brought in to do there magic

  • @zoominnewman12 I decided to completely strip the truck and start from the chassis up. When i get chance i will make a slide show.

  • you need to hire SCP to paint that ugly thing dude.
