my mom used to have more than 6 cats when she was growing up, all of them died, some were attacked by other animals and some died of natural causes, she told me about how sad it was to lose a pet cat since she was so close to it, and because of that she doesnt want to adopt any more cats cuz she know she wont be able to bear it again, i didnt understand that until my cousin's cat (was very close with it) died,i was able to share his last days with him, sorry 4 ur loss :(

aww im sorry about your cat. I know how you feel I used to have a dog and he died. You never think that you could get so attached to a pet but you do.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that. My fiance's 16-year-old cat died 2 years ago. He had cancer as well...and his kidneys failed. My fiance had no choice but to put him down. He also had to watch his cat die.

I have two pet rabbits. I love them...they've been with me since college. I used to hide the first one I got in my dorm room, and I got the other 1 1/2 years later. I like to think they'll be with me forever. They're like my baby girls.

Yes, he really missed his cat. He grew up with him and slept on his bed every night.He doesn't want anymore pets because he doesn't want to go through that again.

My rabbit wasn't too hard to hide...they're each around 3/12 lbs.

It's hard to loose a member of your family. and pets are our family, I have a King Chow Dog and two toy poodles. My Chow is about 14 yrs of age. And I know for a fact I will break down, when she past. I feel your pain But remember the good times of Kitty because she would want you too. And yes you will get another Cat,just give your self time to grieve. Jamesgirl37, I'm so sorry for your lost. Stay strong and keep your head to the sky.

I'm so sorry.... I have a puppy i'm so attached to her so I totally understand how you feel...ppl who would just say "its only a cat" obviously must not have pets of their own...you will miss her for awhile but everything will get better.
