He prolly wouldnt recommend making sounds with this if he knew they dont update the USB-drivers... Programming/tweaking sounds on the panel is a nightmare, and the computer-based editor doesnt work without a working USB-driver, which havent been around for 3 months for OSX atleast... I dont know about windows, but i have heard a few people complain about similar problems, and neither driver have been updated for 10 months...

He uses this a lot on stage. Its in a handy position just above the Roland Jupiter 8 he managed to nurse back to health.

Nick is an absolute legend. This review is tongue-in-cheek & very entertaining. That's what he is about. He has so many attributes. He is highly intelligent, talented, gracious, sexy, confident, interesting, quirky & witty. He possesses an awesome smile, knock-out voice together with the most wondrous green eyes. Is it just me or does Nick look like he got stuck (like in an endorsement contract) having to do this demo? He obviously thinks this a piece of poo poo. He even liken it to a Casio which as most Synth experts know is a kiss of death(like comparing a Yugo to a Ferrari and saying they're botht the same since they both get you to the same place)!

this is probably the worst demo of the microkorg xl on youtube...putting it thru such a tinny sounding amp and just playing the fx sounds with no demo of the cool synth bass sounds at all leaves one thinking the microkorg is pretty lame...which it is not at all.

I personally do not care what anyone says. I think Nick is adorable and the best looking member of Duran Duran with John coming in second and Roger coming in third. I never cared much for Simon and Andy, but I adore Nick. He's as gorgeous on the inside as he is on the outside.

personally, i do love john , he's my favourite... but nick's my second favourite and he seems to be the nicest member of the group, so he isn't the best looking, i still think he is good looking and it's not always whats on the outside-its whats on the inside that counts. i just seriously don't see why you bother to watch videos of nick if you hate him that much. and also, how can you say that simon is built well? he has put on a LOT of weight in the past few years.

It is not always about abilities. Even though Nick is not a virtuoso like Jordan Rudess, he is an extremely talented man. He is a genious creating sequences and a great producer. Save a Prayer, The Chauffeur, and The Devils (album) are some good examples of that.

I agree that the demo was kind of lame, but he was just having fun fooling around :)
