They're american. Their mother is an American Native, father is from Syria.

They just met in Paris and formed the band after having lost contact to each other for years.

When they were young they had a kinda migrant lifestyle. Their mother used to move from one place to another, they lived all across the States.

@SymphonicSatanic I agree with the disturbing part. I am extremely uncomfortable and perplexed by Bianca especially. But that's the greatness of CocoRosie. To be able to draw a reaction like that from someone and make you think hard about it: about what's right or wrong and if it even really matters in the end how you present yourself to the world.
