I have met Michael several times and found him to be humble, graceful, and kind. He never responds to those who bring up his history. What a ministry, what a witness.
No, that is not the case. Michael did have a short affair, for which he took complete responsiblity.He is actually quite shy. He is happily married, as is his ex-wife, and they have a good relationship as he does with his daughter by his ex-wife. God has restored all that Michael lost thru his recklessness and Michael is the first to give thanks for that restoration. He is trying to pass the message that no one is too bad for redemption.

@pspguy28 We ALL make mistakes, it is just that some mistakes are not publicly seen but does not mean that they are smaller than,for instance, the mistakes of those who are "crusified" by the press!

samohtben - wouldn't it be interesting to know exactly what everyone is thinking at any given time? then we would all know just how vile every single one of us truly is - we are ALL unworthy and have fallen short and will continue to do so.
how many pastors have i known that were never in touch with their parishioners? only there for recognition. how about the rest of us in our daily lives?

aren't you glad that our savior isn't gonna bring up our transgressions, the way we mere humans constantly do? michael's forgiven and his sins are remembered no more.. :) we love ya michael!
I don't find this painful at all. I feel that while Michael has made many mistakes God is helping him use those experiences to help others and now he can sing about asking God to "Save Me" with more understanding than he would have had he never gone thru those trials. He can truly relate to those who feel there is no help for them.
Continued: If what Michael says now is true, and I have no reason to doubt him, he was singing for the wrong reasons...especially at the end (the end meaning this tour, with the backing singers and all).
