  • people are yet to realise that there are such things as adaptions.. remix doesn't always mean it'll sound like the original

  • 4/4 Is kind of a cop-out... But cool artistic interpretation.

  • Only now do I notice the synchronised yawning and the 'soft as your pillow' among many others. This is a great match

  • The construction of this song is pretty amazing. While the feel of the relentless timing and urgency of original is gone, this one is complex, too! As a remix, actually, it's fucking fabulous! While dependent on the original ideas, it's like Amplive said, this is what I felt about 15 Steps, and I'm going to make a song about that (and a wonderful one at that). Personally I'm kind of sick of all those terrible songs that call themselves remixes, but the only thing they do is add on a beat. D:

  • i try to like this kind of remixes, but are pieces of shit, all due respect

  • @altDIY

then stop listening to them, stop clicking on them, stop posting on them. just a suggestion.

  • @altDIY That was something that it wasn't even worth saying "all due respect" after because it was quite disrespectful.

  • Stop comparing this to the original!! It's not meant to be better than it or in anyway replace it. It's just a remix.

  • One thing that made the original so great is that it is in 5/8, this is in 4/4 and is missing all of the feeling of the original :|

  • What the hell are you people doing to Radiohead? O_o

  • check our Idioteque hip hop remix out...

  • YES!

  • no, i dont like it, what happened to the 5/4 time signature? to complicated for these guys?

  • @schoolclothesmusic No, it's not supposed to be an exact cover.

  • this is dope, amazing, tits in my mouth, pie in my face good.

  • Now this is good. I didn't like the nude remix but I like this

  • I'm not a fan at all of people singing the song on a remix who didn't sing the song in the original. 15 step is actually a song that would work as a hip hop song, but from a Radiohead fan's perspective, I didn't like it.

  • it should have been left alone in 5/4! :(

you rarely hear any good remix in weird time signatures.

this is good but it would've been more impressive if they could do it in 5/4 :)

  • thatd b tough

  • thats the point! :) it would have been impressive.

  • Everyone should shut up about twilight now and accept that this video's comment board is one of the many I've seen arguing over twilight versus radiohead. It ain't gonna make a difference, face it. Anyway, although this isn't as good as radiohead (in my personal opinion) it's very hard to beat them. So even with the complaints I like this video and the music

  • The reason it's such a hot button issue is because of the focus, detail and effort put into music like Radiohead's. To use that kind of genious in a melodramatic, slipshod, neo-harlequin romance piece of shit like Twilight for "setting the mood" is like hanging Van Gogh's original "Starry Night" over the main shitter in "Larry's Crab Shack and Slaughterhouse".

  • twilights author is mormon and her agenda is obviosley reflected through her writing. this isnt neccesarily bad but i dont think that her morals properly represent the genious insanities of muse and radiohead. plus vampires are dumb

  • I don't understand all the rage about twighlight... now, I don't normally comment on these arguments, but I will this once, just to ask a question- why is it so many people hate twighlight so much? Is it because they don't like "their" music being in it, or do they feel it is unjustly popular? Personally, I quite liked the film, though the book was too slow for me.

I just don't get why radiohead and muse fans get so worked up...

  • Cause muses first album provided inspiration from radiohead, so radiohead fans act elitist >.>

  • my question is why in heavens name would a song like 15 step be in a movie about a dumb ass vampire?

  • *nods*

  • money my friend! thom yorke lives in a capitalist world just like us

  • Seriously, you would expect that from "We Suck Young Blood (Your Time is Up)", but 15 Step has a different feel. Its theme is very different.

  • thats true. i did expect "we suck young blood" to be on the soundtrack.

  • @hunnixox13 yeah me too, that'd be already a lot better.

  • wowowow way to put it in 4/4 =[ its so dumbed down now.

  • I knew they would do that. 4/4 takes the groove out of it.

  • this is disgusting sacriligeous shit.

  • yeah... why would you do this..

  • yorke can

  • nice men!

  • should be called 12 steps now

  • No I know

  • I love them both, I mean that remix and original version.

    I love twilight

  • fuck you, die

  • how is this song from twilight??

  • the guy 2 comments above me said that he loves this song (the original) as well as twilight, referring to the fact that they played 15 step on the credits for the movie. i was informing him that twilight is indeed a disgrace and that the song being in the movie was an abomination, because it's an amazing song and the movie was horrible.......also, i can't figure out why so many people are putting thumbs down on my comment.

  • the people putting thumbs down are (my best guess) huge twilight fans. that movie sucked, i agree with you. the soundtrack wasn't very good though, this was one of the only nice songs.

  • thank you. finally, some sanity.

  • @RedRedWineMusic I put thumbs up now cause I agree the Twilight movies are like crap and I had to puke a little inside when I saw it was associated with Radioheads awesomeness

  • @RedRedWineMusic totally agree

  • really good remix! I like it a lot!

  • This is a good take on the mix.

But it still sounds as if its made at home.

The reason being the acoustic guitar not being warped. Having said that, its a good production, very good vocals. Keep the good work up.

  • i love hip hop AND i love radiohead. the two aren't mutually exclusive ya know. good music is good music no matter where it comes from.

  • great stuff

  • I am not a hip hop fan at all, but I simply LOVE radiohead (love em to death) and I am pleased with your mixes. Good stuff guys!

  • awesome

  • my dad sounds pretty Good Doesnt he

  • nice, nice, sound more like groove armada kind of,good job with the groove.

  • I'm not a really big fan of hip-hop, but this is the best of the Rainy Dayz remixes so far. <3 Does the original justice and sounds awesome.
