I think it is rather sad that he met with such an untimely demise. He surely had his share of demons, but I still can't help feel some sympathy for him. Aside from his personal addictions that some might call unsavory, his Acting career really fell into a slump after "Hogan's Heroes" went off the air. I think he struggled to land good roles, and his career never really resurfaced.

@Landrew0 I may be out of place by saying in a way you are somewhat right and wrong, the theme he used wasn’t the TV theme it was a musical arrangement. I would agree with you if the tv theme was used, but it wasn’t, and another appropriate version could have been the one where the cast all sing the song.

the bottom line is bob crane wanted to clean up his life. get back on tv and film. but carpenter didn't want crane to stop making the sex tapes with him. so one night carpenter went to bob crane's apartment and beat the hell out of him in his sleep. to bad the police couldnt piece all the pieces together to convict carpenter. oh well, bad karma got carpenter in the end. (:>)

@kattyrocket well not really. but i have been studying the murder of bob crane for about 10yrs now. i belive thats what happened. i dunno maybe not. it could have been his ex wife hired someone to do that. maybe a pissed off boyfriend or husband. bob crane did bang a lot of women. (:>)
