There's no "inside" to it. Parker attended UT for four years, was injured her freshman year and did not play, graduated and left with her Senior class.
Yes, she had a year of eligibility left but like I stated before, chose to leave with the 2004 class she came in with. Also, playing in the 2008 Olympics was a boost - ya know.
RU SERIOUS??!! First, Pat's last name is spelled "Summitt". If you think she is a "bitch", why don't you come on down, meet her, play for her (if you have any game) and then see if you can call her that. If you come here and insult Pat Summitt again, you will be banned from making anymore remarks on my youtube channel.
I have tried to be cordial with you but I have no patience with someone who assumes and is insulting, hiding behind a keyboard.
calm down. I was not insulting pat. I'm sorry if it came off that way. I don't know that lady. all I know is this. tennessee and uconn are supposed to be traditionaly the top wcb programs in the nation correct? all I want to know why a national star that could have probably set every ncaa record and won yet another national championship and have her name carved in stone forever in college athletics forever would just give all of that up. thats all nothing more, nothing less.
it just seems strange to me the no female has ever left a key program with a year of eligibility left. parker could have ended the debate of who the greatest female basketball player of all time was. now, people can still argue that it may be miller, holdsclaw, turassi, or parker.
if parker would have stayed she probably would have had a statue erected in her image. that kind of thing lasts forever long after the wnba money is gone. she could have been an ncaa imortal.
Wanting to play in the Olympics, millions of dollars in endorcement deals, wanting to get married - those are not reasons to move on? You do know Parker is married now, don't you? A statue erected? "NCAA immortal"? Yer kinda freaking me out here. I guess I am not following your point. Parker is more than one dimension. She gave Tennessee what she gave. We are satisfied. She's a rich woman now. Might wanna ask her what makes her happy. I think she went out and got it.
I quote you "I thought that it might have been because pat summit is a bitch or summit really didn't want candace to shine over her or sumthing like that."
That is assuming and insulting and yes you do not know Pat.
I wanna know some inside information and why cp3 really left tennessee and did not play her senior year. does anyone know why?
