  • Need to see what lies beneath?Want to really wake up from the lies?intuition, healing powers, it is all part of human nature. The revolution from within, THE-HIDDEN-SPIRITdotCOM

  • just got back from one of his preformances it was amazing

  • easy... no one really knew the total of the numbers, easily staged and recorded before it even happened..

  • this can be done easily.. but im not that sure

  • Hi, I believe in magic. Im a moron.

  • MEh

  • this guy was my college professor back in the early 90s. his real name is moishe botwinick and he was without a doubt my favorite, most brilliant & entertaining professor. he taught a number of communications classes and i made sure to take every single one of them.

  • If the lady adding up the numbers were a 'stooge', the trick would be simple - she would write down Marc's selected number and simply avoid showing anyone the list of original numbers. The fact that the number was large (1695) dissuades any spot checking by inquisitive audience members.... Well, maybe.

I prefer to believe that it is real magic. ;-)

  • you couldn't be more wrong

  • Hi linceed.

    And your theory would be?.......

Thanks in advance. I really am intrigued.

  • he just switched the numbers before giving them to her, that simple, or , it really is magic

  • @flaskofcoffee

i am a profesional magician and i dont like to reveal the methods but just enjoy the show

  • @linceed

    Hi linceed.

Fair enough - and yes, I do enjoy magic and illusions. Best wishes.

  • wow he just had a microphone hooked up to the guys recorder and some guy was sayin it.

  • Nope...that was HIS voice.

  • we don't know how the tickets were collected and about the person who added the numbers... We are supposed to trust them for adding the numbers and also working with the real tickets

  • I saw him in Athens. Quite nice

  • if the numbers were shown on stage this trick would actually be impressive

  • Um, Copperfield has never said he is psychic he is simply a magician that can do big and small tricks.

Marc Salem is also a magician but uses his magic to appear to make him psychic.

The 'real' fakes are Syliva Brown et al.

Can't you people just get over the fact that there are some MAGICIANS who do tricks that appear to read peoples minds for fun?

  • not fake..actually very easy..trick based in dual reality a very cool principe

  • It's really good that he is not saying that he is god or anything, because he could easyly make more money and start some cults if he did

  • He's not God?!?! I'm glad you told me, because I was just about to turn over my life's savings to him.

  • The subconcious mind can pick up every single thing around it, have you seen the other video of the guy who draws rome from memory? The potential is there, like he says about the horse, many animals can do amazing things with their senses that are not explained or are not yet explained, so why would the most advanced animal be any different?

  • I would prefer that Mike Wallace collected the numbers from the audience and added them himself.

  • Superb observation. However, that would not allow the trick to work. I would agree with your request too if Marc was claiming any supernatural powers.

  • Salem doesn't claim to be a psychic or mind-reader. He insists many times during his shows that he's doing nothing paranormal or occult. He's a mental magician -- and a good entertainer.

  • i know the trick.. the fourth person is adding up numbers that marc prepared b4

  • I don't think so. He said that he doesn't use implants in the crowd, and offers up $10,000 to anyone who can prove otherwise. I believe it is a simple slight of hand replacing the notepad with a decoy. Sorry if this ruins anyone's enjoyment of the trick.

  • That was terrible acting, I couldn't have through a window any better than this bullshit

  • *correction, I couldn't have SEEN through a window any better (I think I have dyslexia or something lol)

  • 1, 6, 9 no no no ... 5 is harder to read ?

  • i wont believe it till he reads my mind :P

  • Yeah me too. I think the mind is extremely powerful but this could be a fluke. It's hard to believe this. Just like when this guru got people to believe they can bend spoons with their minds; after it didn't work, he told everyone to bend them physically and he said, "Ha! You've done it" and people cheered.

  • Make him take James Randi's test. that should end any doubt.

  • You are right. James Randi can debunk any of these frauds. It's hard to believe that in this day and age there are still people who fall for this crap.

  • I know thank god for James Randi.

  • Why should he go to James Randi when Marc Salem is a self-confessed magician? A mentalist, at that.

  • He does not claim to be supernatural at all. You make it sound like magic should be a crime dude.

  • It's called mentalism people. It's entertainment similar to magicians. Hell yeh there's a trick to it, it should be admired as entertaining, just like cscentrivideos said, he a confessed magician.

  • The recording he plays is not hooked up to a live Mic or anything, that is truly a tape that Marc recorded of himself sometime in the past.

What happens is he wrote down a series of numbers prior to the trick, conveniently adding up to 1695, let the audience take down their own numbers and when the pad got back to Marc, he flips the Closed pad over so when the woman opens it, she adds the numbers up and the rest falls into place..

  • This is a very common trick used in "magic" shows. The most common way to do it is, of course, to have an "plant" in the audience which I think Mr. Salem did. The other way is slight of hand, you get the audience paying attetion to one hand while the other turns the page to a pre selected group of numbers. There is no such thing as magic or mind readers.

  • ur wrong he is not a mind reader he is a thought reader

  • All he needed was for the women who "added" up the numbers to have come up with the total 1695, (weather that was the right total or not). With one accomplice in the audience you can do a lot.

  • I think that's not his voice in the 'recorder', some one is using a wireless mic to read the written number for him! To prove he can really does it, he should ask the lady to write down the number and not show it to anyone before he plays the "recording voice".

  • You are an idiot. Calling them "fake" when all three people you name freely admit to being tricksters, not supernatural. Save your vitriol for the likes of John Edward, Sylvia Brown, James Van Praagh and the other leeches like them.

  • Look at Darren Brown videos, he's the best in the business.

  • Lame. He appears to be punching the numbers on his pad or whatever he has in his hand which controls the numbers that are announced on the tape player.

  • could be ryt.. we dont know..

  • I'm willing to bet this guy is an atheist.

  • Jewish, very Jewish.

  • HOLY CRAP!!!!!! this guy is goooooood!!!!
