  • nice what are you going to use for the covering silk?

  • Looks and sounds great however it is a good example of a common hand prop mistake made by many including some experienced aviators. Look at his right leg in the propeller arc as he grabs the prop, remember a prop can spin anytime the ignition is hot. He should stand closer and practice keeping his foot in contact with the ground and simply walk away as he swings the prop.

  • looks like two loose penises rotating! ahahaha :D

  • I wouldn´t start it with hand. it cuts your arms of.

  • your neighbors must hate you. :D

  • @corvettels9 looks like he lives in an airpark - probably nothing out of the ordinary for them! :)

  • @47plymouth haha true

  • no offence, but i've always been told it's bad practice to call "switches off" and then "contact" between blades. It can get pretty confusing apparently.

  • Very inspiring. I have a model A engine sitting in the garage for my Piet project. Did you use babbit or insert bearings?

  • Great job guys! I'd love to build a Piet someday. What do you suppose the forward visiblity will be like with the vertical radiator.
