  • The reason I love this commercial is because this dude is not a bad guy. He just speaks the truth: what we all think in our heads or share among our friends. He doesn't hide behind anything. If he sees something good he speaks it; something bad...he speaks it. He tries to compliment and advise people but he wasn't equipped with the know-how to do so. I personally want people around me who are like him. #justSayin'

  • Love it

  • this is so funny

  • just saw this commercial for the first time tonight...and it was sooo adorable :)) i loved it, its kinda funny how he messes up on everything and then all of a sudden..halmark saved the day!!

  • wow! I loved it - I think we all know someone like that who tries so hard but just seems to always say the wrong thing.

  • I'm looking for a Hallmark commercial that aired during 2009's "A Dog Named Christmas." It talked about the person in a group that holds everyone together. Can't find it anywhere.

  • This is such a Susan Boyle moment ! i love it .

  • Oh my gosh, the bride's expression at 0:59 and the "oh no" at 1:04 make me crack up laughing! TOO FUNNY

  • Here's a conundrum: if you leave out the part where he admits that he's not using his own words, the commercial keeps its sense of humor, can be considered edgy and also memorable. But it also acknowledges Hallmark's role as a purveryor of pure insincerity. That would be part of the humor and it would take a company with balls. Predictably, they end it with the same sappy bullshit that made the company infamous, and I'll have forgotten this commercial a week from now.

  • i agree though

  • @CrazyHorseInvincible LVE H M COMMER

  • 1:03 when she says "oh no," really funny, lol !!

  • where can i find that card lol

  • My dad helped make this commercial. Halmark is one of his companies accounts. Gotta say it's preety neat.

  • @kappakisses I LIKE OLDER ONES.

  • haha

  • Brilliant commercial. We saw the Hallmark Hall Of Fame movie last night: "Front Of The Class". Great flick. The Hallmark Card ads were almost as good as the movie. Great stuff - sentimental and inspiring without being too syrupy sweet.

  • very cute

  • Yay, Ian!!! =)
