I feel you Skittles. I was confused as hell about the vacationing couple. But it doesn't seem all too bad considering that both parties agree on it and its been working for them. The biggest problem, is that whomever they mess with, might want to keep in some type of contact to see that person the following year; which means they'll be in contact after the vacation. But a situation like that, you have to mentally prepare yourself for. It's not something you want to just jump into!

I agree with your friends Candy. Everyone does need a break. I think if I was married, after maybe 5 years or so, I would probably talk/think about trying it, with terms and conditions of course. Like not going anywhere close to home, bc you dont want to run into the person you spent your little 'vacation' with! O NO MAMA! The lines of communication have to be open and very strong to try things like that in your relationship. it also has to be something that discussed early in a relationship.
